I'm at Eastbourne v Darlington...the great escape begins.

Incidentally, for any south of the city - one local non-league club in need of a boost are the newly-formed Bromsgrove Sporting - created by fans after the sad and bitter demise of one-time Conference club Bromsgrove Rovers. They hope to be playing at the old ground eventually but are starting off with home games in Mid Comb 2 in Studley.

Come on Darlo! Went to see them at Cheltenham in the Vauxhall Conference (if that's what it was called then) when He Who Will Be Called Brian was manager. Won in the 83rd minute by someone called Eyres (I think). Ran over to HWWBCB at full-tme and shook his hand. I later cut off said hand and it is now pride of place above the fireplace.

I was nearly going to go to Barnet - Cheltenham this saturday but nobody else fancied it. So, I won't.

I used to play for Triplex as a kid and was asked to play for Pilkington  not too many seasons back. I was surprised to see how poor the standard is now though in the Midland comb.

Indeed, apologies for not appending this to the existing thread. Still, if people are heading out and about and have already heard of it then that's great news. The more the merrier. Anyone who wants to register to potentially win themselves some freebies is more than welcome.

Think I'll amble along to Dulwich Hamlet. Although Sutton United and Kingstonian are at home too.

Looks like Altrincham v Kiddermister for me.  Quite looking forward to it, not been down Moss Lane in ages.

Fisher Athletic are my local team ( Fisher FC now). The Bash Street kids from Bermondsey are the traditional bitter rivals of Dulwich "Hamlet" ( a hamlet in Brixton??).

Don't they ground share now?
