Will never appear at Villa Park, but then again the same could be said about O'Dreary and look what happened there.

gary, mate, do yourself a favour and stop listening to those rumours. The man didn't just get fired over wanting to interview with us. He got fired for something else and now he's just another unemployed football manager. He isn't going from League 1 Southampton to PL Aston Villa. He's not even an up and coming manager. He's an average football manager that has had most of his success in the lower divisions. He's not even close to PL material.

Besides, even if it was true (and it is'nt) Southampton would have seen it as an opportunity to get some compensation, rather than kicking him out the door.
