Will someone please wake me up and tell me that apart from the West Ham game the summer has been nothing but a bad dream?....this news is the fucking cherry on top of the icing on the cake.

I'm absolutely delight Emile Heskey is staying at the club. He is truly the greatest defensive striker in the world and a bonus to any team. I'd be really upset should we sell him as I think he is a crucial part of our team.

Let's face facts, it was always going to be difficult to get rid of the deadwood, with or without a manager.

Good. We can't afford to let anyone go, when we can't bring anyone in.

FFS....      no wonder I bought a new car I need pickingup...

What did you buy? I'm knee-deep in a mid-life crisis and bought a new car just recently as well. I told the wife it's was either that or a mistress. We both agreed a car was the sensible choice all things considered. It did pick me up somewhat, I have to admit.

Now you just need a lock-up somewhere nice and quiet where you can go spend time with it while the wife thinks you're on the golf course.

Pass the rope down I want to use it as well -

Stick him in goal for Everton KMac - everyone else is being played out of position

Even if we gave him away tomorrow to Leicester we'd probably end up paying him £45k a week for the next two years, assuming they were to pay him £15k a week. That's a total of over £4.5m.

The sad fact is we're stuck with him, high wages (who negotiated that deal?) and the only clubs that would want can't afford him.
