It's going to be the North Korean manager who will be bringing with him Em Tee Sits and that old favourite, Won Fook Aw.

If the President hasn't killed him yet.

Carlos Queiroz is having a major fall out with the Portuguese FA. Looks like he'll either walk or get fired.
I wonder if the forward is Ronaldo.

Queiroz would be a brilliant appopintment imo. He would tick many of the right boxes in terms of what we should be looking for. Plays attractive and effective football, knows English football, has brilliant contacts and can spot up and coming talent. I would be afraid that he is (just) out of our league though, whether he leaves Portugal or not...
I think he'd jump at the chance. The other thing that would really appeal to Randy, apart from him being a top modern day coach, is Queiroz is a real gentleman. It's a marriage made in heaven. Unfortunately, Queiroz is a bit of a soft touch, lacking the real leadership skills to be a top manager. Players normally end up walking all over him. Maybe his experience alongside Ferguson has toughened him up but I some how doubt it. He did have the balls to single Ronaldo for being a complete twat during the World Cup, so you never know.

Ferguson must see something in him. He wanted him to be his eventual replacement but I still think his lack of leadership is his weakness. Maybe with Kevin Mac alongside him, it might just work. Whatever. I certainly think he'd love the Villa job and with things getting nasty in Lisbon, he'd be looking to prove the suits wrong.

Humm..

You have to wonder if his success at Man U was because there was a big nasty stick behind him and he could concentrate on being the good guy. However, when he's on his own, the good guy thing doesn't work forever if you don't have a nasty streak.

He's been showing his nasty side recently, that's why he's been suspended by his FA.

well he'd certainly be an interesting choice. We'd be playing technically better football and we'd be buying technically better players. He'd likely have a solid grounding in South American talent given that so many of them (esp Brazillians) play in Portgual, and a superb knowledge of Europe.

His insult to the anti-doping guys was a beaut. I'll leave you to offer the translation.

“porque é que estes gajos não vão a esta hora fazer o controlo para a cona da mãe do Luís Horta?”

Horta is the head of the anti-doping authority.

Guardian saying McDonald has two more games to prove himself, not what i wanted to read. Sven for all his baggage would at least give us experience and a knowledge of good players the world over.
