0% Villa: The Blackpool Kid
« on: August 16, 2010, 03:36:11 PM »
Right so some of you might have also noticed SSN seems to be reporting all day about this kid, giving him a free shirt and free tickets to the Arsenal game.

Can someone shed some light into what this is? Really bugging me as I have literally no idea what's going on. He keeps waving his arms and breathing loudly.

What the hell's going on?

Just some 7 year old kid in a Blackpool shirt too big for him on I assume his Dad's shoulders giving it the big one at the end of the game which the TV camers picked up.  He looked like your typical northern cheeky chappie.  And that's it.

Jesus. Seems like a lot of fuss over nothing.

I got picked up by cameras outside wembley at the cup final and they never gave me a shirt.

Or tickets.

It's a slow news day. No big signings for Manchester City or anything to report on.

I think they're referring to some lad Martin Samuel made the focus of his column today in the Daily Mail. Just some little lad who obviously had a great day Saturday.

I can't imagine Barry Bannan looking chuffed at anything, Eric. He permanently wears a face that looks like his dog has just contracted smallpox.

Isn't it just Sky patronising teams they deem to be "small" again?

I'm not pleased for them. I don't hold anything against them but for now they're another team in the Prem who we need to beat twice. Saty up, go down, I really don't care about them at this point. Ask me with 3 games to go ifd I care and I may think otherwise. May.

I'd prefer to see photographs of adults/children wearing a heck of a lot of other team's shirts than the Sky top 4/5/6 whatever it is they use to promote their agenda.
