I'm hoping Kevin McDonald can get the changing room buzzing and put a team out with confidence for today.
The rest of the season is going to depend on who comes in of course.
I think I'm sitting on the fence.

Optimistic now that fuck face has gone.

Your heartbreak over his departure never fails to make me smile :)

I'm strangely optimistic. A fresh start and at least I'm looking forward to the football this afternoon rather than expecting the same old, same old.

I think this is a fresh start for the squad and I can see some players being motivated to do a good Job. We will also have a better balanced side now old stubborn bollocks has gone!

I'm more optimistic than if M'ON was in charge, but we do need to get the right man in to replace him. We need to clear the deadwood as much as we can, and get in the right players. That will be difficult in a couple of weeks, but we are not far off a very good side. Ireland for Milner, suits me fine.

As I said many times last season, we're not as bad as we pretend to be. Hopefully Kevin Mac can get the lads fired up for this one and working for each other.

Nervously optimistic.  Certainly more than I was a week ago.  There's such an air of unpredictability about where we now are as a team that I can't fail to be a little excited about todays game.

I'm realistically pessimistic about the season as a whole - I just can't see that we'll be in the race.

It's the first match of a new season. I have just pulled my season ticket out of my wallet for the first time in 3 months and it feels electrified. I am about to jump in the shower and then get ready for the match.

Showering with your season ticket.  You certainly are a dedicated fan or you have a very strange prematch ritual.
