Can't see why anyone would boo him. He never asked to leave, the only guy who said he did is the ex-manager and we all know how reliable his word is.

Of course he wants to leave you dopey sod. The meeting where he told them was with Lerner, Faulkner and MON and since then the first two have been trying to get the best deal they can for him.

I really hope the wanker doesn't start, I won't boo but plenty will and we don't need that as we've got a tough enough job as it is.

Not once has James cone out and said he wants to leave!!! He has been told to leave cause villa need the money so he will play his heartvout.  If he wanted tobleabe s transfer request would be in and he would of asked not to be in squad today

& not once has he said he wants to stay either .
he's no different to 99.9% of footballers today & he will go where the money is regardless of any contract they may be tied too .

I think staying silent has more of an effect than booing him.    Makes us lot look better than the money grabbing cnut ...

I won't be booing Milner, not whilst wearing a Villa shirt anyway.

I would suggest any booing is saved for if and when he is in an opposition shirt. Todays game is extremely important, the display and result could set the tone for the season. Assuming we want success I suggest we get behind anybody who is still with us at this time.

I won't ignore him but I certainly won't be clapping like I've got an elastic band around my wrists.

This "did he want to leave" stuff is a bit of a nonsense. If you are a professional footballer, and you have the chance to move from a club stuck at around 6th to one which is prepared to improve your wages by tens of thousands of pounds a week and is buying the best talent in the world, with the realistic prospect of challenging for the highest honours, who would not want to leave for that?

Yes I know he wants to leave  but if he is on the pitch in Claret & Blue I will cheer him.

Someone who wants to play every week.

It's only at clubs who refuse to rotate their squad adequately where players are guaranteed to play every week.

If Milner goes to Man City he'll play far more than he sits out.  The idea that he's going to be some sort of spare part up there is nonsense.
