I'm going to have to ignore him, but I reckon he'll be on the bench today.

as far as im concerned whilst he wears the Villa shirt he is one of our players and booing your own players before they have kicked a ball and during the game is not acceptable, after the game if he does not try, etc then its fair game as it will only help the opposition and today of all days kevin macdonald and the team need our full support

Ideal scenario for me would be us 4-0 up with a minute to go and Kevin Mac brings him on as a sub so we can say a "special goodbye".

U need to be carefull with your "special goodbye" as its not guaranteed he is going anywhere yet........if he is still here on 01/09/10 we will need him if we are going to challenge this season.....best save the abuse for when he comes back as an opposition player

Not once has James cone out and said he wants to leave!!! He has been told to leave cause villa need the money so he will play his heartvout.  If he wanted tobleabe s transfer request would be in and he would of asked not to be in squad today

Get behind him. Milner's a true professional who will always give 100% regardless of whats going on.

I hate hypocrites who slag players off for wanting to move to (what will probably over the coming years) a more succesful club for more money. You would do exactly the same in your job.

I think if he plays, the team should run out to the tune of ' money makes the world go around, the world go around .... money money money money .....' lol

Milner has put his heart and soul playing for the club beyond a lot of other players. If Heskey, Davies and Petrov had showed his application throughout their time with us maybe we would have sneaked fourth.

There is no reason not to cheer and support him.

When he says he doesn't really want to leave is when I'll think he doesn't want to leave. I'll be ignoring him.

I agree with that too; I hope people don't boo him.

Cheer him. Yes, it's crap that he's leaving but he clearly is only leaving because of the money situation.

He deserves to be cheered for what he's done for Aston Villa the previous seasons.
