Cameron on MON.

I see our countries esteemed leader and die hard Holte ender has been asked his opinion.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/aug/11/david-cameron-aston-villa

Speaking on the Manchester-based radio station Key 103, he said: "I'm very sad about the Villa manager departing because Martin O'Neill did a fantastic job, so I wonder what they're going to do next." Asked if he had the necessary skills to replace O'Neill, Cameron added: "No. I'm not remotely qualified."

Cameron added: "No. I'm not remotely qualified."

He forgot the words 'for anything' at the end.

At least he hasn't come out with a "Jackie Milburn" type comment like Blair.

Yet.

"Ah yes.  Mark O'Reilly.  Smashing chap.  I'm gutted that he's left... where was it again, that's right, Aston.  Dreadful news."

See, another upside of a change of manager.

It has made Dave sad.

Buggered up his unemployment figures though.  They've only gone down 49,000 now.

Does he want the CEO job?

Joking: I have no idea if he is qualified or not.

PM rules himself out for VP hotseat
« Reply #12 on: August 12, 2010, 01:49:39 PM »
Prime Minister David Cameron has spoken of his disappointment at Martin O’Neill’s resignation from his post as Aston Villa manager.

Cameron claims to have supported Villa since the age of 13, when his uncle and former club chairman Sir William Dugdale took him to see a match at Villa Park.

Along with Prince William and Governor of the Bank of England Mervyn King, Cameron’s support ensures that Aston Villa have some of the most powerful fans in the land.

He told Manchester-based radio station Key 103: "I'm very sad about the Villa manager departing because Martin O'Neill did a fantastic job, so I wonder what they're going to do next."

When asked if he had the necessary skills to be O’Neill’s replacement, Cameron said: "No. I'm not remotely qualified."

He'd be exactly the man to implement the wage cuts.

To be honest, the pay for a football manager is so much better than for the Prime Minister.
