Knee jerk reaction. Kepp your season ticket and get behind the club. O'Neill is not bigger than Villa. No one is.

People are fickle indeed...

I am now considering going back to Vienna and joining the away scheme!

.

Hmmm

I can't afford Vienna and and can't make that majority of away games... as I can't afford it. I was just trying to make the point that I am more excited about playing in Europe with a manager that may put the effort in and looking forward to watching better football.

Me and my mate were actually on our way to Villa park to renew when the news broke. We ummed and arrddd for abit (he got interviewed by the mail) until finally getting them. We found it hard to think of any available manager that we would want. We looked to the heavens for a sign.

My mate likes a moan, atleast he'll probably have a reason this year.

How about growing up, picking your dummy and teddy bear up and getting behind the Villa. It shouldn't matter who the gaffer is, you go to support Aston Villa. Managers come and go always have always will.

Oddly enough I am more excited about Saturday now and looking forward to getting behind the team under difficult circumstances.

You know how these things can go though. I hope we can just have a day watching the team but if things don't go well on the pitch then we might see a backlash.

Not me, I'm worried about the potential backlash and division amongst fans should we get off to a bad start. I just want to go down and support the team, sadly that will not be the case for everyone.

Keep the season ticket,   get down there on saturday and with a bit of luck we might get to see a right back, playing at right back    :)

When I heard the news I decided not to renew, but having slept on it and thought it through, I'm quite looking forward to Saturday now.

I am now looking forward to the season for the first time this year.

Just checked my season ticket, by the way. It indicates that I have a seat to watch Aston Villa and makes no mention of blind loyalty to O'Neill. Good riddance to him.
