as much as i can see us winning this match i have a very strong feeling that with defenders out and no new signings we will lose this match....i can see Wigan all over again...

still think we will have a great season thoiugh but with a new manager and new players West Ham will be fired up for this match.

Does anyone know when the cut off point for registering players for this game is? By what Mancini is saying we are likely to sell Milner (and presumably buy Ireland) on Thursday after the international nonsense. We could do with Ireland desperately as Petrov will be knackered from playing in Russia midweek.

Gabby, Cuellar and Collins have all been carrying injuries, so not sure we'll start all 3 of them. I think the line up will be -

--------------------Friedel------------------------
---Young----Dunne-----Clark----Warnock---
---Albrighton---Petrov---NRC---Downing---
---------------------Young------------------------
---------------------Carew------------------------

Guzan, Agbonlahor, Heskey, Sidwell, Beye, Salifou, Cuellar

That's assuming Milner goes and no one comes in.

I think it's normally at Noon on the Friday before that round of matches.

I can see us taking a while to get into our stride and this being 1-1.

Cheers VSM. Hopefully Nigel will have a good game against his old mob if Ireland doesn't sign / doesn't sign on time.

Ooh... just noticed the smilies... do they work?  :P

Same, but if we have Ireland by then I can see us really taking them to the cleaners. He has just the imagination and speed of thought to make their task of stopping us just too hard.

Has Hitz been playing much for them in pre-season?

He has, and well. If he plays I look forward to the ovation.
