It would have been much better if it had gone on and on.

Say, they mime returning home with the `fish' and somebody's `wife' congratulates him before gutting it, descaling it and poaching it with dill and capers while making an excited telephone call to her mother, but then as she's talking a man comes to read the meter and trips over the `cat' etc. etc.

I reckon you could have the whole ground booing and making `wanker' gestures within two or three minutes

and then when the house hilariously floods the local news reporter could turn up and make us laugh with his witty asides.

Never been a fan of choreographed celebrations. Much prefer to see something spontaneous. As much as it made me chuckle, I'd hate it if the villa players did it.

Is how I see it too.

My favorite of all time was in the NFL after a touchdown.  10 Players lined up like 10 pin bowling pins and one guy rolled an imaginary ball towards them and they all fall over like in a strike

Not sure what year, what team etc

I think you're thinking of Shaq doing it during a pre-game:

The camera/picture-taking thing is something the Cavs always used to do before their games as well:

I wholeheartedly agree. Poncy goal celebrations are all well and good for Johnny Foreigner but the mere thought of George Curtis or other chaps of a similar ilk standing on the touchline rocking an imaginary baby makes me hyper-ventilate

Sad Bastards! I hope Villa players never embarrass us with something so choreographed and cringe worthy.

Villa would have to actually score first.
