Redknapp at it again
« on: July 26, 2010, 02:01:53 PM »
Redkapp is at it again.  On the sky sports site he has said he isn’t interested in young or milner…  he says the following

Asked about Milner, Redknapp told Sky Sports News: "No, we wouldn't be able to.
"Anybody would like James Milner, he's an outstanding young player, but he'd be way out of our depth."

On Young, Redknapp added: "Again, I wouldn't think they'd want to sell Ashley Young.
"He is a good player but he belongs to Villa. We've not made any enquiries for him at all."

What a Git !!

i remember he said the same about Keane before he signed him !!

I know he will never get young or milner but he like his attempts to let the players know how much he wants  them without actually saying he does !!

In fairness he was asked about those players directly after the game in NJ and gave pretty specific responses.

The time they were linked with Keane he was giving enigmatic clues like"I'm not sure we can afford him."

Think "twitch Rednapp" was very honest about Milner and Ash. But i think he might be planning an identity fraud on them .........

Agreed, to infer that Redknapp is a crooked underhand manipulative operator who uses dodgy dealing methods is not on. Stop it.

I like Redknapp as much as I like a cold. But in this instance I find him not guilty.
Apparently Spurs havent got that much to spend and Milner and Young are out of their price range.

Whatever Milner goes for, if he does, Young is worth more in my opinion.

I find him deeply irritating, with all that "the boy done terrific for us" mangling of the English language, and his talking about other teams players in public (which I think is harsh in this instance), but he is one of the few characters in the game at the moment.

He's also done a really excellent job at Spurs.

Champions League and they played some excellent football last season.

Probably.

Theres one idiot who wanted to throw coins at him and did.

Theres 39,998 who while wanting to throw coins at him, never would and strongly disapprove of the idiot who did.

 And theres you.

I think he was referring to the score when 2 fingers went up to the Holte......

No Oxford Grad., but as Paulie says, a character in a game devoid of them.

Quite right, he has only been accused of being a crook by the City of Westminster police. It hasn't been proven in court yet.
