I'm no expert, but looking at the size of the crowds in Brum, I would say there were many more than 100,000 that the Pathe newsreel mentioned.

I've never seen the colour footage before. Great!

The most telling thing? That on the homecoming film, the commentator finds it faintly incredulous that it has been 37 years since Aston Villa last won the Cup...
