Are H&V having a league for this again this season? Anyone know the code?

Sorry, I've not set it up yet - I'll do it now.

No need to apologise and no rush. Was just enquiring as a friend has sent me a reminding email about another league we have. Thanks for sorting it.

No worries.

I've just renewed last year's so anyone who was in it last time and has already set up their team for year should automatically be in it.

Thanks Dave. If anyone also wants to join the Head-to-Head one the code is 28019-107044.

I have changed it so that the top eight towards the end go in to some sort of play-off. Not exactly sure how it works but we'll find out.

Could a mod sticky this thread till the first deadline of the season?

By some fluke I have managed to form a team which will doubtlessly be as shit as last years.

Is anyone doing the Times one or is there an issue with them charging for their website?

They don't seem to have started it yet. If they do, I'll be up for joining... Bully Wee Villa are defending Champions after all...

It doesn't seem to be affected by the paywall.

I'd be up for doing it again, but hopefully I'll pay attention better this year.

You can't join yet, it's not running. The rules from last year are here.

Basically, it's an NFL-style 'draft' to ensure that no two teams have any of the same players in them.

There are lots of different statistical leagues... 'most clean sheets by defence/GK', 'most goals by defence/GK', 'most minutes on the pitch by midfield/forwards', etc.

You are given points based on your position in each of these mini-leagues, in a 16 team league, the leader gets 15 points, second place gets 14, bottom place gets 1 point.

All the points from the mini-leagues are added together to decide the overall table.

Simple, eh?

That's for the Times one, I've added the address for the normal Premier League one.

The normal PL one is much simpler than the Times one.

You just pick the players you want (2 goalies, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders and 3 strikers) within a set budget and enter the leagues you want.
