ooh, nice I made reserve status. Goodbye youth team...

If only this were a Man City forum, you could have joined The Elite Squad.

"City’s Elite Development Squad – formerly known as the club’s Reserve side – will kick off their Barclays Premier Reserve League campaign with a home clash with Aston Villa on August 31."

I sense the presence of Gary Cock in this decision - Clicky

I wonder if the youth team is to be renamed The Featherlight Ultra Fine Boys.

Big fan of Warnock, although he was never quite the same after his injury he's still a very good left back and hope he starts the season with us.

How long has Warnock got left on his contract? Hopefully it's no more than his agent pushing for a new deal. If the red scouse want their ex players they can have heskey.

He has 3 yeaqrs left on his contract and it's an awful lot less than his agent pushing for a new deal. It's some bloke on an internet forum.

I was thinking along the lines of as he has been away at the world cup, and the fact the players were so bored, they could have been playing "wages top trumps", comparing who gets what, basic salary, bonuses et al. He may be thinking along the lines of now 'I'm in the squad I'm worth a bit more.' I am looking forward to a good season from him, fully fit and over his injuries of last season.

I would be surprised if he wants out though if Liverpool made the first move I reckon he would want the chance to play for them again
