We've just had it confirmed on our web-site that Matin O'Neill and quite a few of your first teamers are going to be present at the game tomorrow.

Will there be a good turn out from the Villa fans , kick off's at 2pm plenty of parking and quite big clubhouse allthough the ground might be a bit of a shock for you

Some of us are old enough to have followed the Villa in the 3rd division, we like `homely` and `basic`. Anyway Im sure your ground can give The Lamb at Tamworth a run for its money.

Will keep an eye out for what sort of team is playing, if there are a few first teamers will make the effort, but not paying a tenner to watch the kids.

I've decided I will probably go to this as an overcast day here and not much else to do. Will try and report back if I can recognise any of the younger players with no names on their backs!

2-0 to them at half time. We have dominated the first half without ever looking like scoring. Our centre forward decided to score an og just to help them out! Shorey, Davies, Cuellar and luke young all playing but young 'uns apart from that. Albrighton best player so far

Just back, a relatively meaningless workout in the sun to be honest. 2-1 the final score, we dominated but had no one up front to put the ball in the net. The pressure on their goal increased towards the end and we could have had 3 or 4 in the last ten minutes, instead of just the one we did get. No one stood out significantly, though Shorey had a useful second half and was instrumental in most of our best moves. Our big centre forward - forgotten his name - certainly made an impression when he came on too in the second half and gave us much more of a focal point. Davies was pretty composed at the back and played the full 90 minutes. Good turn out from the Villa fans, plenty all around the ground and even some singing! When Carlos went off and walked around the ground, it took him about 20 minutes to get to the changing rooms for signing autographs and having his photo taken! The kit looks just ok in the flesh, I can't abide claret socks and the top looks alright.

Was well impressed with the Villa turn out, thought our second was top draw.
Hope we can play you again next season and hope you enjoyed your trip to Hampshire good luck for the season ahead
