If you can afford it and your more concerned about the view then I would go Upper Doug or Middle/Upper Trinity as close to the Half way line that you can......You should avoid people standing up for no apparent reason

Yip, no standing & no atmosphere :-)

Has to be the Holte. Upper preferably, although the lower has its moments.

K5 upper row 30.  Top view, but you'd be best off a bit lower.

How dare you haha, I've had many great moments in the trinity middle , saw my 1st game there over 30 yrs ago and apart from a handful of games it's where I've always sat , best for view in my opinion ,but not for atmosphere.

Im a long time Trinity middler myself, spent my earliest years there with my parents before escaping to the Holte terracing with my mates. Returning back to the old girl in my late thirties before it was vandalised and destroyed. Ive now moved to the Trinity lower. For a middle aged git like me it combines being near enough to see whats going on with sufficient atmosphere, but without me being buffeted about by those young ruffians on the Holte. But of course us old uns still always outshout them when we re-live our youth and get amongst them at an away game.

Trinity Lower, right behind the dugout, where you can pass on useful hints and tips to managers past, present and future...

I can fully concur with this.

For the last 5 or 6 years I have been here, and moved seats every year to get away from "moaning olod gits", and some young ones too. The highlight, or lowlight, was when the blokes behind me started moaning about the 25th Anniversay DVD of the European Cup win!!!!!

At the end of last season I admitted defeat and am now in the Lower Witton Lane for next season.

It depends really on what your priority is for atmosphere it would have to be the Holte; but the downside to that is each time the Villa pass the halfway line coming towards the Holte the muppets at the front stand up.

I have sat in the Lower Holte for 6 years. Last year moved more central to L5 row S. Right behind the goal. Awesome view, great atmosphere. I never want to leave this seat.

Also, remember that in the lower holte you have access to the Holte Suite at half time, so buying food stuffs and beer is much easier than in any other part of the ground.

Upper North for me

Had season tickets in the Holte upper in the past but got sick of 14 year olds singing out of tune for 90 minutes and continually having to stand whenever we cross the half way line
