From Pravda:

Quote
Stephen O'Halloran has agreed to join Coventry City on a one-year deal, with an option for a further year.

The Irish full-back will formally become a Sky Blues player on July 1.

O'Halloran came through the ranks at Villa but endured a frustrating couple of seasons, which were plagued by cruciate ligament injuries.

He battled back and featured for Villa's reserves towards the end of last season - his final appearance coming in the national play-off final against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Good luck to him.

He'll do his cruciates on the first day of pre-season training though with his luck.

Good luck young Stephen. Always hoped he'd make it big with villa before becoming a star for Ireland.

Hope it works out for hm.

Oh well. Could have been another Mick/Bogtrotter to have done well for the Villa following the likes of Deacy, McGrath,Staunton, Townsend, Houghton and erm Cascarino, Farrelly and Kinsella. Best of luck to my fellow Cork man.

he was never going to make it at the villa, even before the injuries...

works hard, but lacks pace, mobility and decent touch...

its great to see us sticking by young players while injured, and steven appreciated this... can only bode well for us in the future when trying to attract young players to the academy...

It was obvious he wasn't going to make it when his squad number was given to James Collins. Hope he makes it at Championship level.
