I've had nothing either.

Rather than a card, I'd prefer something that explained what the "loyalty point" scheme was all about

I received one.
Good public relations I would say.

It's easy to be cynical but just as easy to be positive.

So I'll be positive.

Good man.

why is this even an issue?

The club can do very little to show their appreciation when you think about it.
The small cost of printing cards and mailing them to season ticket holders is tiny.

Could be a club like Small Heath, where all you'll get is a £40 entrance fee for a knackered seat.

Well said.
Its nice of them to say thank you, and i thought it a nice touch tbh.

It's a good job the General isnt around.
I'd ask him to explain the meaning of these "Thank You" cards, I can tell you.

I've had one.

Whats better.....?
Someone at our club saying, 'I know, lets send the fans a thank you card for their support last season'.
or
Our club doing the rest as everyone else, and doing fuck all.
I know which one I prefer.

Nice one Villa.

I've had one too.

In fact, I also had a call a few weeks ago saying that they had noticed I had been to a few games last season, and would I like to follow that up with a season ticket this season.

All in all I can't fault the club at the moment with regards to PR and the efforts they are making.

Just need a few players!!!

It also has the added bonus of giving the cynics who like to see the downside to everything another opportunity to have a winge. Everyone's a winner.

I can't really see anything to knock about it, made a nice change to open something that wasn't trying to flog me a credit card to be honest (that's a whole other, Off Topic thread just there!).

And it's a classic photo inside (for me anyway).

Had mine yesterday, I think it's a nice little touch and good PR from Randy.
Love the page spread photo of the youth cup team circa 1973.

I'd have said it was the youths from 75/76.

Mine is on the mantlepiece with all the 'congratulations' cards regarding the new bab. Like them, it is much appreciated.

Nice gesture, and great photo choice in the middle but I can't work out if it's from  Bolton 75 or Spurs 77.

The absence of MON's signature is intriguing.

It's getting me excited.
