I genuinely hate all that contrived 'fun.'

And how Sky get muppets like that to act out a scene or sing for the camera. Toe curling stuff.  I get embarrassed on their behalf and have to turn over.

Stand on my corner when we have a live game and watch what people will do when there's a camera crew around.

Sky, the BBC and local papers need a nice fun story to fill up time/pages, meanwhile people with very dull lives want five minutes of fame to feel better, together they = stories like this!!

I believe a number of people at the Bell pub in Marston Green/ Tile Cross have also legally changed their names to Wayne Rooney.

Only in a fuddled attemp to evade detection/prosecution.

Because they're football crazy fools who want to cheer Our Boys onto world cup glory why do you think?

It's got fuck all to do with football and everything to do with the allure of fame.

People who are "football crazy" tend to put all their effort into following their team rather than pulling tiresome stunts such as these.

Cocks the lot of them

I hate all this fake English pride - the reality is that a load of people who know nothing about the game end up getting bladdered in boozers whilst women shout "whats happening now" "why did he do that" then when we get beaten they think its fair game to smash anything with that countries contotations  - French / German cars etc

ITs just like being in a bar at xmas do time - seeing the folk that go out once a year - its painful

If you are patriotic then fine - but dont just do it to be a sheep - be patriotic all your life

I will watch the games from my living room

I'll watch the first at my pals bbq, but after that, I'll do the same.

Can you imagine how bad it will get if we actually host the bloody thing?
