All 15 staff at a Wakefield pub have changed their names to Wayne Rooney ahead of the World Cup.
And the managers of the Bay Horse on Bradford Road at East Ardsley, previously Lee and Lorraine Kennedy, are now both called Fabio Capello.
The former Mr Kennedy, said: "I'm expecting a consistent and very solid performance from the team. They're all match fit and they've got the ability."
And the name changes are a hit with pub regulars."They absolutely love it," said Mr Capello. "It makes a huge talking point."
But one Wayne Rooney, formerly barmaid Nadine Beck, said: "My boyfriend
isn't too happy. He says he's sleeping on the couch until I get it changed back as he's a Leeds fan."
Andy Wilkinson, Clover Taverns managing director, said the Rooney and
Capello names had been taken up by staff at all 10 Clover Taverns pubs. "If the team come back with the World Cup hopefully both manager and player will pay homage to their efforts by popping in for a drink served by their namesake."
He added: "Rooney embodies everything we think an English footballer should be – fearless, fast, powerful and strong."
All have certificates from the UK Deed Poll Service to prove their new identities. Their new names will remain until the end of the World Cup.
