It's been talked about but getting a publisher is the problem.

i posted this before under villa literature thread.
lion books in kidderminster had a few copies brand new still in cellophane. i bought one from there before the chelsea game. the owner told me he had met richard whitehead the author in a motorway service station and bought all his copies off him when he was trying to raise funds to get him to oz for the ashes. he seemd to have a few left so give them a ring.
mine is still in the cellophane and will be opened with a ice cold mount gay and coke in hand in about 4 weeks time on the beach in barbados.

I worked at Old Trafford cricket ground a few years ago for a while as the token convict in the committee bar. I brought this book in and showed my then boss at LCCC Jim Cumbes, he took it away and flicked through it for a while with some interest and later laughed about his radio show picture.

The best-ever book about the Villa, particularly if you lived through it and the run-in to our glory days (and I say with great respect to our Dave).

Mine is softback but I can't recall whether it was also published in hardback.
