his o-fer five/six start made it look like a standard crappy 2015-16 Kobe performance but then everything just clicked like it was the early 2000s

It's a Finals rematch between Cavs and Warriors.

I see its gone to a deciding game 7 in the NBA playoffs

Did anyone watch game 6 as I see Curry was fouled out and Mrs Curry was not a happy bunny on social media saying the NBA was fixed and LeBron got over 40 points

People are only just now realising that the NBA is fixed?

Quote
Since 1984, Stern’s first year as the head of the league, the gold standard for the Finals has been to have teams with big stars and huge personalities to pump up drama and draw viewers—not that much different than the way pro wrestling deliberately manufactures feuds between its stars.

When the matchups don’t raise the pulse—think of the San Antonio Spurs vs. the New Jersey Nets in 2003—the ratings are dismal. Sadly, for all his reliability and consistent play, it’s doubtful that Tim Duncan has ever kept anyone glued to the TV.

I've heard that no team in the NBA, NHL, NFL or MLB who held the regular season win record has ever won a championship in the same year.

1972 Miami Dolphins are the only ones I think.

It's tough to be the best team over the course of 82 games (basketball and ice hockey) and then be expected to win 4 best of 7 game series as well!

Look at the Penguins this year in hockey, they were terrible half-way through the season, but were without question the hottest team going into the playoffs - the proverbial team that nobody wanted to play - and they won the lot.

The bracket is set:

East

Celtics v Bulls
Raptors v Bucks

Cavs v Pacers
Wiz v Hawks

West

Warriors v Blazers
Clips v Jazz

Spurs v Grizzlies
Rockets v Thunder

My predictions, Cavs to step it up and breeze East. Spurs to beat Warriors in conference final and win the whole thing. No lower seeds to win first round.
