That's a good point, also 'Fan Pages' - unlike 'groups' - push stories to your news feed.  So someone could import an RSS feed of the top stories from on here (maybe from the front page?), and it would appear in your news feed on facebook in between pictures of your ex girfriend and you mate telling everyone how drunk he got last night.

It's a sure fire winner.  Probably.

Go HERE and follow the instructions.  It's essentially the same process as setting up a group, just easier for fans to interact.
