Never replaced Knight properly. I'd fancy my chances of scoring more runs than Westwood.

I think Somerset have done well with Trescothick. A world class player who doesn't play internationally.

Six down now.
If we're struggling for runs with Bell and Trott in the side you have to worry about the rest of the season when they're off with England.
Jim Troughton retired hurt. Hope he's okay. I've always liked the guy and he's a brilliant strokemaker if he gets going.

Fairly even so far. At least we managed to get two batting points in the end.

Excellent effort from Carter and Woakes this morning. Need to finish them off quickly though. They've already recovered from 113 for 6 to 159 for 6.
Don't want to be chasing any more than 250 in the fourth innings if we can help it.

Gah. Stand of 65 and rising for the last wicket. Saj Mahmood with 49 off 37 deliveries so far.

200+ runs for the last four wickets is the way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Time will tell...

Our ace new opener has gone for 6. Good job we've still got Westwood there.

We need another 297 to win. 9 wickets and just over a day left.

It should be doable with Bell, Trott and Troughton in the side but I can't say I'm confident.

It's not often that a side makes the highest score of the match in the 4th innings to win.
It's possible but I agree with you, I'm not confident either. One thing in our favour is that Keedy isn't playing.

It's a pretty tricky fourth innings target. We might just have let them off the hook.
And as I'm typing... two down, Bell's gone. Bollocks.

34 for 3. Off 22 overs I might add.
Trott gone for 6
Looks very much like game over.
