I've just had a squint at that, couldn't be bothered to listen to it all  but I did read a few of the comments, mainly from Villa fans.  I wonder about this bloke:

That's mad Joe and I'm a Villa fan. That's the trouble when you've got foreigners running your club. No f@#king idea! Sympathies

Not aware of who owns his own club then.

For a lot of them the big problem is that they associate “protest and bedsheets” with us, so they feel obliged to sit there passively as their team slowly gurgles down the plug hole.

Not when they wanted Zola out, must've spend last half hour of his last game in charge just chanting "we want Zola out." Of course we're the fickle bunch who want managers out after five games.

Yes it seems to have passed them by that while we had Bruce in charge for those two years they had 6 different managers.

How long before the rewrite the narrative and portray Monk as the villain? Didn't they do similar with Rowett?

This just keeps getting better.

Didn't really care' Birmingham City CEO savages Garry Monk in explosive interview

The BCFC boss was dismissed yesterday and this is what Xuandong Ren had to say about it

The BCFC boss was dismissed yesterday and this is what Xuandong Ren had to say about it

Birmingham City’s chief executive Xuandong Ren claims Garry Monk didn’t care about losing his job - and has explained why he was sacked.

In a revealing interview with The Times, Ren said Monk’s attempt to use a single agent in transfer deals and his refusal to adapt the team’s style of play were the reasons he was dismissed.

Disagreements behind the scenes had been going on for some time and the relationship between Ren and Monk had become so strained that inevitable action followed.

He said:

“We gave Garry everything he wanted.

“There was only one thing that triggered this. I made it clear that we did not want his agent (James Featherstone of Omnisports) involved in every single deal.

“I’m not 100 per cent sure he was trying to get fired, but I know he didn’t really care about this job.”

It’s understood, however, that Featherstone, has been assisting Blues in transfer negotiations way before Monk’s arrival.

He was used during the Gary Rowett and Gianfranco Zola periods and there are also suggestions from those close to Monk that the single-agent claim is not entirely true.

Ren continued by saying:

“Everything changed when the transfer embargo was lifted.

“Garry wanted his agent involved in every single deal, which is not something we were comfortable with.

“We’re not naive, we know the way football works, but it’s not the way we wanted to operate.

Garry Monk, manager of Birmingham City

“I actually get on very well with his agent, James Featherstone, who is a very professional and mature guy, but the club didn’t want him involved in every deal.”

Following his exit, Blues have agreed to pay Monk the final 12 months of his contract, which also appears to have angered Ren.

“Maybe the problem is Garry?” he suggested.

“He has never managed a football club longer than two seasons. Every time he gets sacked he gets richer.

“He was sacked by Middlesbrough, won his case and got compensation.

“Football management is crazy. Every time you get sacked you get richer.”

Blues fans will argue that Monk deserves his pay out and has been treated badly following the wonderful job he did in charge during difficult circumstances.

He helped end the disconnect between the supporters and breathed fresh life into an under-performing club.

But the agent row was not the only issue, Ren insisted.

“Garry was told the owner wanted a change of style, to see Birmingham play more possession football.

“Garry said, ‘No chance, I cannot do it. If you want that get someone else.’

“When I heard that I was very angry. I was not giving him an order. Is the owner not allowed an opinion. I was thinking, ‘is this because I stopped him getting his agent involved? ’

“We wanted to sit down and talk to him about the season, but he went on holiday straight away. We last met on May 18, when he spent three or four days in Birmingham after coming back from Ibiza, and then went on another holiday.

“We only met once after the season finished. Last week there were stories [in the media] that Garry would be leaving, but he did not even call. He didn’t care.”

It’s car crash TV but fcuk me their board are a horror show aren’t they? Fancy taking orders from someone who has most probably never kicked a ball in his life on how to set up a team and playing style. I’m surprised Harry Monk lasted as long as he did.

So a few noses intend to have a protest meeting at the weekend .Should be a laugh, hardly anyone turns up for a actual match so god help a Saturday afternoon in the middle of June

Last time they arranged something similar, they could not find Sherlock Street lol...all 6 of them! ::)

Reading between the lines whilst doing my best not to burst into laughter, i think they are financially wrecked. Its all about cost cutting, keeping those dreaded padlocks from returning to the front gates of the Sty.

Skint pricks! 8)

Monk also comes across as a bit of a tit. He was perfect for that lot. Fuck em all.
