Now this is where the so called football family should come together. Tottenham posted record profits of 100+m, where are they? The premier league is awash with cash. Players swimming in it. Where are they all when staff of a founder member are skint? Silence.

Agreed but Bolton said that they'd been given help by several clubs, including Preston. Perhaps they have helped and don't feel the need to announce it on Twitter.

I would expect that if the clubs and players had offered any real kind of offering then they wouldn't be advertising for milk and beans from fans.

I would expect that if the clubs and players had offered any real kind of offering then they wouldn't be advertising for milk and beans from fans.

Several clubs have donated money including one paying the Bolton staff a week's wages.
