My dog Buster passed away this evening, peacefully. She was a grand old gal, around 15-16 and had been suffering for a while. I am heartbroken, though and can't stop crying.

We love you Buster, thank you for being such a loving friend. My lovely, faithful, loving, cuddly, friendly dog Buster – there will never be another like you. Gone to doggy heaven, sleep peacefully my baby, I love you and miss you xxxx You have been with me through so much - from 1996 when you were a fresh-faced, bouncy dog without a name sitting in your cage at Birmingham Dog's Home, when I saw you for the first time you were, like you always were, sat there quietly, looking at me with those loving eyes, and you chose me to be your Daddy. I hope that I never let you down, you certainly didn't ever let me down. You loved my Mom, she loved caring for you, you were there when Leanne was brough into this world, and were so, so gentle with her, loving her and protecting her. She loved you too, and loved cuddling you all these years. You were there when I met my wonderful Kelly, and again took to her straight away, making her fall in love with you immediately, and for years she cared for you, bathed you, fed you, cleaned up after you, exercised you, and you rewarded her with untold love, forming a bond that can never be broken. You were loved by so many people - you were the best doggy in the world, and are now the best doggy in heaven. Take care of her please Lord, she brought me so much happiness and company, friendship and love. To all of you who took the care and time to look after Buster, thank you so much, we truly are grateful xxx
