RIP. Chris .  Holte enders in the Sky

And for the record n the truth will out ,  but do not be suprised that DW is bang on the money!

A terrible day for the family and friends , as well as all Villa fans,

I hope we pay respect with dignity as a Club and City, and do not turn it into a professional mourner type situation as some areas of the country seem to thrive on

Can we keep this thread free of conspiracy theories so it can be a fitting tribute to the guy who died?

Sad sad sad.  What a shame a lad had to lose his life in such a way.

Prayers may be of little or no comfort to the bereft family, but mine are with them nonetheless.

Nobody deserves to have their life cut short like that. Rest in peace, Chris.

Villa have announced that there will be a minutes silence before the Wigan game in respect of Christopher Priest who was a season ticket holder in the North stand.

I kind of agree with you both, but at the same time I think given the circumstances in which it happened (albeit as patchy as they still are) it is probably the right thing to do.

We know the club consulted with the family closely, so I think it's fair enough.
