I've been meaning to add this for a while.

RIP to this brave young man, another Holte Ender gone to watch Pongo play in the sky.

How fitting that as I am reading this, the words of a song say:

'Every soldier dies in his glory'.

He may not have been a soldier, but he was an extremely brave man. RIP.

I was talking to his mom today. She seems a strong woman but sometimes things are just too awful to imagine and what that poor woman is going through is one of things.

The funeral is on Wednesday morning. Villa was an enormously important part of his life, so much so that when he goes to meet Pongo he'll be wearing his Villa kit.

Poor woman. Let her know the Villa community are with him.

At times like this it can be relatively small things that bring whatever little comfort you can get. I think she is genuinely touched by the way Aston Villa acknowledged her tragedy at H/T in the Manu game. There will be a piece in the Derby match programme and she mentioned in particular receiving a letter from our manager.
