I like those predictions, actually. I assume you're not letting him stay up to watch it?! It's repeated over & again for the next few days anyway.

Went to Hall of Fame last night. If the idiots in the crowd hadn't spent so long interrupting The Rock to get their amusing personal interjections heard and then clapping EVERY time anyone's name was mentioned, Flaire might have had time to finish his speech.

Spending 15+ minutes to thank WWE staff who weren't in his speech was justified and showed a bit of class for someone my brother has very little respect for due to an incident at NEC where he was rude and abusive to a large group of fans. However if he hadn't then spent another 20+ minutes thanking wrestlers who weren't in his speech, then he might have managed to finish his on time.

As it went 23:00, my bro commented that in the UK, they would have to shut down due to fire regulations or some crap like that. Within 15 minutes, Triple H was first getting info to ask ric to wind it all up.

Off to Mania in a bit. Keep an eye out for a Union Jack and a St George's Flag with the previous style Villa crest on it alongside the ramp and opposite the cameras!  \:D/

There's no way you can see a Villa flag in THAT stadium! It really does make Old Trafford look like my garden shed.

I'm not into this stuff by any means, but I was surprised at the amount of non Yanks there. (My lad is watching it now)

There is a guy in a Blackburn Top, a guy in an Everton Top, the Flag of Ulster, 2 St G's crosses.

The ladder match was probably fight of the night, but did you see Carlito's botched jump from the ropes on to the ladder? He fell straight off! A lot of those moves were "holy shit" moments.

HBK v Flair started off well, but I didn't like the ending or the postmatch bit; they should have given more time to thank Flair, bring the roster out. That match should have closed the show.

Undertaker v Edge was very good though.

The rest was quite disappointing.

That's right, folks. The grandaddy of them all, the Big Dance is on tonight, live from Orlando.

Who else will be watching it?

Your WrestleMania 24 predictions?

Unfortunately me...

Somehow i let my lad con me into letting him stay up and watch it.

Over to my son Gareth..

MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH to win a Contract for a Future World Title Challenge: Mr Kennedy, Kennedy. CM PUNK or Chris Jericho

CM Punk wins, 1 0 Gareth.

JBL vs FINLAY in a Belfast Brawl: Finlay, to get revenge for Hornswoggle. Finlay to win, because he's going to whack him with his  Shillelagh" ...

JBL, so both wrong. 1 0.

BATISTA vs UMAGA in an Inter-Brand Match: Meh. Umanga (as Regal calls him) to win, and then join Smackdown. UMAGA's 'Samoan Spike over the BATISTA Bomb

Batista won, still 1 0.

24 MAN BATTLE ROYAL to Become the #1 Contender for the ECW Title: Kane. The Great Khali

Kane won. 1 1.

CHAVO GUERRERO vs THE GREAT KHALI for the ECW Title: THE GREAT KHALI.

Kane won, still 1 1.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER vs THE BIG SHOW: Mayweather probably has it in his contract that he's not allowed to lose. Agree

1 1 STILL!

RIC FLAIR vs SHAWN MICHAELS in a Career-Threatening Match: HBK, and then everybody to cry as Naitch has to retire. This will be the Showstopper!
THE NATURE BOY, RIC FLAIR!

HBK, so Tim 2 1.

BETH PHOENIX & MELINA vs ASHLEY MASSARO & MARIA in a LumberJill Tag-Team Match: Ashley & Maria. BETH & MELINA

Beth & Melina, so 2 2.

EDGE vs THE UNDERTAKER for the World HeavyWeight Title: Taker to preserve his unbeaten record, Edge to retain title (via DQ). THE UNDERTAKER to use his new submission maneuver and win the title.

Taker won, with his new submission move so bonus point. 4 2 to Gareth.

RANDY ORTON vs JOHN CENA vs TRIPLE H in a Triple-Threat Match for the WWE Championship: Difficult one to call. I'll go with Orton, to keep the feud going. TRIPLE H

RKO won, so I get the point. So Gareth beat me 4 3!

Be gentle with him TimVilla, he's only nine!

Perhaps he should be gentle with me!
