The Stanley Cup final looked like it was heading towards an easy win for the Chicago Blackhawks.

However, the Philadelphia Flyers have now tied the series at two games each

Does Jeremy Roenick still play?

He was my main man on NHL when I played it on the Megadrive / Playstation,.

"Blackhawk Up"

Chicago Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup for the first time in nearly 50 years

Hmmmm...... winning the cup for the first time in half a century. That seems like a pretty good idea !!

Grats to my Hawks for ending 49 years of frustration!!! I'm hoping Toews stays in a Hawks sweater for a long time. He's a class act!

Now if only my Cubbies can get a title I will have seen every Chicago team claim a championship title.

From what I saw of them against The Rockies, not a chance!

The Elite League season started this weekend. I went tp Cardiff tonight and saw my Devils lose to an impressive Belfast Giants outfit.

Belfast will be hosting the Boston Bruins soon in an NHL preseason game. Wish I could make that one.

Did anybody see the brawl between Coventry and Nottingham last week? It made it onto Canadian TV as the sports channels were loving the Brummy accent and apparently the brawl was started by a Canadian.

I'd not seen this

I'd have thought that this would have attracted the attention of Wilbon / Kornheiser and made PTI

Funny to think Coventry Blaze used to be the Solihull Barons, I used to watch them every once in a while... they even made it onto Grandstand once. Great brawl though, thanks for posting it.
