Im a Jets fan as the first game i ever saw was the Monday Night Miracle, when they came back from about 35 points down against the dolphins. There's kind of a Browns link there as Joe Namath played for the Browns after he left the Jets. Tenuous though.

CT, I think John Madden has moved to Sunday night games (shown on channel 5 over here) and the commentators from sunday nights last year have moved to mondays (also shown on channel 5)

Question for UKRedsox: Is there no more Madden/Micheals on MNF this season then?

Due to decreased ratings MNF has switched from Network TV to ESPN on Cable/Satellite (now featuring the genius Tony "Satchmo" Kornheiser").

John & Al will now be doing NBC's flagship Sunday Night Game.

I assume that Channel 5 will be showing these games but there's nothing on the "Five" website.

Sky are showing double headers for at least the first three weeks of the season.

Da Bears and the Cubs, for obvious reasons. Will never revert to being a Browns fan.

Our new favourite NFL team seems to be struggling at the Center position.

Firstly LeCharles Bentley goes down injured now Alonzo Ephraim is suspended for drug use.

I keep an eye on New Englands scores, and league position. But not to the point that I can say I really care. Its a sport so i try and have a team to follow. New England because of England- although i will try and have an interest in the Browns next season. In baseball I keep an eye out for kansas scores as they are shit and finish bottom nearly every season.

But in reality American football, baseball, basketball are all bollocks.

Philly Eagles  ](*,) Notorious for bad fans, bad attitudes, and sniveling bastard players. I think I'd pick the Dallas Cowboys over them, and that's quite painful for me to type!

I've never been the type of person who is dazzled over wealthy teams and star athletes. I have a soft spot for the underdog...I love teams that play for pride. Washington Redskins...now there's a team with heart. I've been a loyal fan since I was a little girl.
I've never had any reason to dislike the Cleveland Browns, other than their hideous colours. ;)  I will definitely be watching them closely this year.
