Wow that was so tense.

A great game, best so far this season.

Hopefully if the Packers can now start to get over the ridiculous injuries they have had, and their ability to throw games away, they can become the genuine challenger that their talent level suggests they should be.

Steelers win with last minute FG in Miami... dammit.

Not without cost though.   Aaron Smith, unsung hero and one of the best defensive linemen in the game is out for the season with a torn bicep.

Picked up a few other injuries as well, hopefully those aren't as major.

Lets all laugh at Dallas...

Lost again last night to a very impressive New York Giants, now they're 1-5, with Tony Romo out for the rest of the season... no homecoming for them in February lol.

Despite Eli playing for both teams!

Now that the Boyz won't be playing in the Superbowl, Jerry will probably hire out the new stadium for Monster Truck racing instead; leaving the NFL to fin an alternative venue !

10 or so years ago the Broncos v 49ers would have been a classic match up.

Now its a 2-5 team Denver team coming of a 59 point humiliation by Darren Mac and my Raiders against a 1-6 San Fran team coming off their first win of the season. Both head coaches might not be on the plane back home. If Mike Singletery wasn't a NFL legend, he'd have been fired by now.

Hopefully it'll be an entertaining game, because I'm doubting there'll be much quality

In all fairness to the 49'ers they're very unlucky to be at 1-6. They've played really well and you can't knock their performances, losing a few games in the last minute has cost them. It's more mental with San Fransico I think.

Big game for both teams on Sunday, I've got San Francisco winning.

Can anyone offer some advice on some bets to put on tomorrow?

No blame will be placed if they don't come off.

It's like a who sucks less contest.

I would bet on the niners if I was really going to bet on that.

Is it possible to bet against both?

First half yesterday was terrible. Both teams were scared to take any risks. It was one hand off to Frank "Call me Al" Gore after another (29 carries) or time after time Kyle Orton dumped off a short pass.

The biggest cheers were reserved for the highlights of each Jaguars touchdown against the Cowboys

The first time the game got exciting was when the Broncos finally started throwing deep and then ran it  in from short yardage. The latter featuring Tim "Holier than thow" Tebow; so I got my opportunity to stand up and boo him and all he stands for.

After that, the game finally livened up and was actually pretty exciting for the rest of the second half, with Troy Smith doing his best Brett Favre impression by flinging the ball around with seemingly no chance of it being caught but somehow finding his receiver.

The Broncos could have won the game themselves if they hadn't had a TD called back for an illegal chop-block and a long punt return negated by a push in the back.

Overall a pretty good day out and far less stressful than being at Villa Park.

BTW, well done the the guy sat a few rows in front of me who arrived just after kickoff carrying his Villa v Blues programme.

49ers HT/FT at 7/4
49er - 5.5 at 13/8
49ers field goal as first scoring play at 3/1
Broncos to score less than 20.5 at 10/11

Piece of cake this NFL gambling lark.

Only sore point was Crabtree first TD at 12/1 (the only bet that didn't come in), but he redeemed himself by scoring later.

Not a bad day out, all in all.

I hardly watched any of the first-half as it was so boring, second-half was better... although booing my boy Tebow isn't cool. McDaniels job is safe by the sounds of it, Wade Phillips will be going going... gone.

Anothe crazy week in the NFL...

Oakland win again and are now at 4-4. Playoff contenders? hmmm.

Jaguars make Dallas look awful... again. Jerry Jones and his boys are just a laughing stock, no point in having that stadium if no-one's gonna turn up lol.

Miami win on the road again... I was right about da Bengals - overrated.

The World Beaters that are the New York Jets (all together now J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS) score 0 points at home against the Packers. LOL.

Current Champs beat Stealers at home - good win for the Saints and deserved their win.

New England go marching on with another win and are now 6-1. The people who were saying Brady&co. are past it need a hard long look at themselves. New England are still a great team and should never be overlooked. As for Grandpa Favre's Vikings... not looking great are they?

I've written off the Bears season.

Can we just all agree to laugh at Dallas?
