Bear Down, Chicago Bears!

Go Irish! Wake up those echoes! I hope Touchdown Jesus sees a lot of action tomorrow.

I hate Notre Dame.

Its not me being my normal anti-religious self because I tend to support Boston College. However, there's just something about ND that makes me dislike them intensely.

What's wrong with that...? Notre Dame's history and traditions is wonderful (although I can understand that some people don't like commentators talking about them too much)...  some religious affiliated universities are rated very highly and have a really good ethos towards sports and education. They've also produced some great athletes, Allen Iverson and Joe Montana just spring to my mind right off the top of my head at 2am being pretty tired.

btw, I am currently watching NFL America's game... 1998 Minnesota Vikings - the missing rings.

I think its the sense of entitlement and arrogance from ex-players (Mike Golic springs to mind).

There's also the whole thing about not being in a conference and having a TV deal which give ND far more coverage than the quality of their play has deserved over recent years. For a couple of years the only College Football we had on UK TV was ND games. I think that was the period during which my dislike grew

The commentators seem to be suggesting teams like the Packers, Cowboys, Jets and Colts may be the best teams.

They were saying thatv Da Bears have gotten rid of Orlando Pace and then just moved last year's Offensive Line round a bit. We've had a terrible Pre-Season, but I'm hoping that it's in the same way that the Colts always lose Pre-Season and then win most of their games  :-\

Packers v Ravens seems to be a popular Superbowl pick.

I think there is too much Packers hype... it's just seems like it's going to be a massive anticlimax if/when they reach the playoffs. Regardless if my Ravens don't make it to the Superbowl I think the potential teams that'll make the playoffs in the AFC will be too good for the Packers; I honestly would pick the Colts, Ravens (ok, maybe bit of bias), San Diego and New England over Green Bay in a Superbowl.

Bears have already managed to lose two fumbles and throw an interception. If we lose to the sodding Lions I'm writing the season off after one game.

Did Suh try and take Cutler's head off?

Good wins today for the Patriots, Texans, Jaguars and Titans.

Out of jail for Da Bears. Houston got performance of the day so far, beating the Colts.

Randy's bunch lost, as usual.

It seems like Cleveland lose too many games they should have won... conceding TD's at crucial momenst. They probably should of beat Tampa Bay today.

There's some interesting looking people in the crowd at Qwest Field today.

Seattle took complete control of the game when the 2nd quarter started and when that happened San Francisco lied down like dogs letting Hasslebeck take over making pass after pass with no defensive threat from the 49ers.

the Seahawks have got decent chance of winning their division.

Some things never change, the Raiders still suck big time.

As much as I love Al Davis and his feck you attitude to the NFL, its time that he sold up.

Cowboys v Redskins was an exciting finish!
