Great review of the game Dave.
Especially like the last paragraph, gives me goosebumps reading that.

Indeed thank you Dave, that was a lovely night, Villa Park looking and feeling wonderful. My feelings about moving on to a new/rebuilt stadium tempered somewhat after an experience like that.
-
Nice article. But was the Everton fan that you spoke to who was impressed with the ground and atmosphere also suitably impressed with your attire?
-
Love the Everton fan comment.
You would hope that would Stop all the silly talk about moving from Villa Park.
You will never get that atmosphere any where else.
-
Great stuff Dave. I'm still buzzing. The last time that I remember Villa Park that loud was Collymore's goal v Athletico Madrid. We're Aston Villa, we're on our way back.
-
Agree with Chicago. Was a cracking night and new stadium my arse

Who wouldn't be?

A great read that really reflects my experience last night. We are watching a revitalised Villa and it’s a long time since I’ve this connected to the club and the players.

Haha! Indeed! Fingers crossed he'll now go back on the Everton forums to quell and rebuff those bad clothing accusations.

Great point about learning that losing the ball in the Prem you won't get it back 5 seconds later, far fewer mistakes from the opposition in this league. Hopefully after last night we have learnt that.

I'm getting worried. Where's Daz?

Little bit late but now on FB.
