This is fascinating. Short interviews a player from 1920s, 1930s, 1940s and 1950s (Vic Milne, Jimmy Gibson, Mush Callaghan, George Edwards and Jimmy Dugdale before moving on to Vic Crowe and the previewing the game itself. It then finishes with a bit of Doug being Doug.

I hope Perryman with his clearance off the line and Chivers with his two goals were proud of themselves for leaving a 13 year old lad in tears at the end.

Never saw this before.
What saddens me, is how young everyone looks, I was 15 then and they would have seen like a bunch of old codgers to me then.
Players reflecting on games played 40 years ago, a bit like me now !
To my eternal shame. I queued up overnight to get my Wembly ticket. I could not go and sold it to a "mate" at the cover price only to discover he sold it on for a profit. (Bernie can guess who)

I could never tire of watching that clip. The mind boggles when you consider that the 1924 final that was discussed is closer to 1971 than we are today.
