Surprised this hasn’t been started yet so, as I did the one in the week, I’ll,take the lead.
I’m confident for this game and I’m sure the players are. Sure Boro won’t fancy playing us after their recent form and the result earlier in the season.
It’ll be tight but we’ll win 2-0. Tammy and Conor
-
Good man Dave. Let’s get this going. We’ll have too much for Dino Penis. More fluid, more ideas, more energy. Stick me down for 3-1
Tammy, Jack, Mings
Who cares for them
-
8-8. Don't blame me, blame the precognition of maths.
Failing that, 3-0. Same starting 11 as Wednesday, if Forest couldn't play their way effectively through our minimalist midfield, Boro won't.
Green, Abraham, Mings. All in the first half, Tiny spends second half with 11 behind the ball to hold what he has.
-
Huge game.
Given their recent form and that we can close the gap to a point, I fully expect Pulis to come and sit deep, pack the midfield and keep things as tight as possible.
The first goal is huge and we must get it.
Same team as started on Wednesday for me.
-
Don't seem to do particularly well at home, 2 wins out of 12 games since 2000.
I reckon Pullis will come for 0-0 hoping to nick one, so we need to score early on to open them up.
-
Onwards Villa!
-
The issue will be we now all have expectations of a simple win.
Is their big lump of a CH suspended following his dismissal?
Could be of benefit and first goal critical in a tight affair
1-0 Adomah
-
This is one of those games that feels pivotal. Win and we keep the momentum up and pressure on going into the international break. Lose or draw and we hand the initiative back to others.
-
We will blow them away. Our first 11 is too good for anybody in this league.
-
We have gained 8 points on them from the last 3 games
We all know a Pulis team is hard to beat
Draw for me :-X
1-1
-
1-1.
-
Don't care about the score as long as we FTF.
Win please Villa.
-
Pressure is on Pulis apparently and they are out of form so I expect them to set up not to lose.
Villa win for me. 2-0.
-
Don't fuck it up you usele.. The mighty Villa go marching ON, ON, ON!
2-0. Have that and you can stick your baseball cap up your arse!
-
Villa win
Pulis sacked
We march on
UTV
-
As Pulis has no chance of autopro he will want to preserve his teams position in the play offs so I expect multiple double deckers parked as he tries to get away with a draw. Well fuck off..... 4-0 Villa.
-
Would be very nice to win this one and be in a play off position going into the international break.
-
a routine 2 nil win please Villa.
UTV
The Doc
-
2-0 Villa win and the good run continues.
-
Tough game, but it would be ace to go four unbeaten into the international break. Come on Villa
-
1-1

This, please.

1-0 Villa. Crap game to watch but another three points.
-
Villa 2-0 goals SJM and now's he's back on home soil Tammy

Daniel Ayala will be available for Middlesbrough's trip to Aston Villa this weekend after his red card against Preston was successfully overturned.
The Spanish centre-back was shown a straight red card by referee Keith Stroud during Boro's 2-1 defeat by the Lilywhites on Wednesday.
Boro quickly appealed Ayala's 'wrongful dismissal' following the defender's tackle on Preston's Brandon Barker.
The decision would have ruled Ayala out of the Championship fixtures against Aston Villa, Norwich, Bristol City.
The FA issued the following statement regarding their decision: “Following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing today, Daniel Ayala will be available for Middlesbrough’s next three matches.
“The defender was sent off for serious foul play during the game against Preston North End on Wednesday [13/03/2019] but a claim of wrongful dismissal was subsequently upheld.”
Both Boro boss Tony Pulis and Preston manager Alex Neil felt Stroud made the wrong decision by sending Ayala off at a key moment in the match.

I read the title as Aston Villa v Bore

Fucking hell. He took off from 6 ft out, was at high speed and completely out of control, missed the ball with his leading foot and scissored the player down in what could easily have been a leg breaker and he gets off?

That's exactly how I saw the incident. Nothing the F.A. do surprises me anymore
-
I'm normally quite a pessimist when it comes to predicting how we'll do, but we seem to be scoring goals from midfield and Abraham is due to score. We could easily have had 4 against a good Forest side.
4-2 Villa.

Social media posts regarding Tony Pulis being a skidmark on the Championship due to his perceived anti football approach to games and the fact he is too old to wear a baseball cap are also being investigated.

I presume he'll represent his own defence. Who better?

He'll have at least 9 in defence!!

I bet if I could be arsed to check the Boro sites they’d be hoping for a draw at best.
And they’d be right.
-
Win this, few other results go our way and we're right in the mix, Villa 2 Boro 0, massive game for us now, as every game is, but if we can keep chalking up the wins then the huge enormous Leeds Norwich end of season games could already be tied up.
Here we go, ASTON VILLA

I thought I'd have a peek at one. First post that appeared...
Who is Pulis sucking off at the FA to get that red rescinded???

Blimey, they're an optimistic bunch!! Opening posts are football-supporting misery at its finest...

The beard watch bit was funny.
To be fair to them there's some good humour there and a lack of twatishness.
-
That's a great thread. Are those folk normally that funny?
-
And I thought we were grumpy...
-
Their absolutely certainty we are going to beat them is not at all reassuring...
-
Blimey the Pulis effect has certainly gripped their supporters.
Judging by a quick read he's putting them through hell at the moment.

Years of mediocrity and despair has worn them down, sounds familiar.

They love their Tiny Penis don’t they...
Battered and beaten. Can relate
-
2-1 win.
Tammy and Mings.
We are well overdue a home win v Boro.
-
That's a great thread. Are those folk normally that funny?
Yes. We used to have a thread based on one of the Sunderland fans' sites; it was brilliant. Athletico Mince rules.
-
That’ll be the Sunderland that’s not in Middlesbrough?
-
4-0 villa your getting sacked in the morning to pullis
-
We'll win this 3-1 (hopefully).
AVIT!
-
At the very least a draw but we're going to stuff them.
-
1-0 Abraham.
Boro to have someone sent off.
-
Come on the Villa boys! Let's make it 4 wins on the bounce! UTV!
-
Feck.
They have me looking forward to going to the game again !
-
We always seem to do well against these and if we create as many chances as we did against Forest, we should win. 5-1. Bernie Slaven with theirs.
-
We’re in the gower for the weekend, holed up against the foul weather. Last time we were here? 1/12/18. Villa demolition job.
-
Fancy us to do them today. 3-0 again.
Come on you Villa boys!
-
Got 5/4 On us winning today.UTV.
-
Weather could be a bit of a leveller today. It’s windy as fuck.
-
It’s a nice change for leveller to be a bad thing.
-
Think we’ll win this - Mings will keep their penisball under control. If we move as well as we have been doing they just won’t have the legs. Bring Green on later to keep the pressure on.
-
Playing a Pulis team in gale force winds. Fucking great.
-
Smith has been good at counteracting route 1 football. We've only struggled against teams that actually play football IIRC.
-
Villa win
Pulis sacked
We march on
UTV
Sorry Des mate, but why should Boro be put out of their Tiny Penis misery???
