Told you I was impressed with you lot on Saturday at our place - so have put my money where my mouth is! £20 each way on the clarets to win the title! Don’t let me down now...

I solemnly wish you every success in this gambling endeavour. Particularly as I did something very similar after Saturday. I got 18/1 at Paddy Power.

Sadly for us both, and indeed everyone here, I do not win bets. The one silver lining for you all is that I did not pick each-way.

Except for one particular occasion when our manager of the time asked someone if they wanted to bet against us...

In the Lambert years I bet on us to go down every season. That kept us up. I only stopped betting on us to get relegated when we became odds on at the start of the season!!
