Title: Three cars broken into on Sat on Albert Road
Post by: Stinkin_Thinkin on September 25, 2018, 07:53:28 AM
I saw three cars with their windows smashed after the game on Sat. It was on albert road by the school which is opposite a park.
There was a long line of cars parked on the road and the three random ones had been done, therefore I imagine they had left some stuff display.

After I had my car broken into twice in Upper Sutton Street I decided that it was cheaper to pay to park in the church.

Are those areas outside the residents parking zone?

I saw some cars broken into, not sure of the road name. I remember a few years back my dad's friend was broken into, reported it at the local police station and was told "well, you shouldn't bring a car to the football" by an utter dickhead police officer on duty.

I thought it had died out a bit, but obviously not, sadly.

I had mine broken into during the Bournemouth FA Cup game a few years ago, my kids first game too.

Window Smashed, radio thingy ripped out, dashboard scratched and a £2700 insurance claim.

I park on the King Edwards School now, its about £120 for a season ticket and i can be home in Sedgley half an hour after the match finishes

Jeez that's good going.Presumably you don't hit any traffic? Sometimes takes me an hour or more to Stourbridge.

You forgot to factor in the fact that the roads around Sedgley will be deserted due to everyone else being stuck in traffic over in Wolverhamperton as nearly 100k supporters make their way out of the Molieneux Camp.

It takes my brother in law over an hour to get back from The Custard Bowl to Tipton.

The school is right on the A38 junction, so straight on and down the M6 to junction 10 and back up the Black Country route.

Cars being broken into around Aston and Witton is an everyday issue. The reprobates are not specifically targeting football fans. Mostly related to kids/drugs needs.

I always park in that road, first time Ive seen broken car windows there though occasionally see them on the surrounding rounds. Surely just a case of making sure there's nothing left on show for them to nick? In the old days it was stereos but these days them being integrated in the dash seems to have reduced that.
I think an opportunist gang probably did the length of the road, 3 quick jobs then away.
