Those ticket prices are a piss take aren't they.
Well I started the day with the offer of club wembley, prob about £150 so compared to that, but it's higher than my Reading relatives shared were last year's most expensive...
Yawn going to be back in the big southern smoke 1.30am...
At least for my Dad who has to then drive home to Hampshire in the morning, the over 65 are all half price, that's something.
-
I do think in an ideal world there would be a criteria in between 3 games and ST holders, but looks like everyone should be able to get a ticket!
-
Anyone knows any club wembleys going spare, apart from dodgy websites?
-
Have PM'd you Seb.
-
Anyone with 3 matches this season not planning to go and willing to give over their online reference? A combination of poor planning with allocation of reference codes and increased family commitments means we have a small number in our group who havent got the 3 - and worried theyll miss out!
Thanks in advance, UTV
-
I know it is a big ask but looking for a couple of tickets (would take singles) if anyone ends up with any spares or doesn't intend to use their reference....
Thanks in advance.

if you're a non-season ticket holder and you've brought a ticket in the neutral end at fulham before, you will be eligible to buy up to 5 tickets from them at sunday 10am.
you will be eligible to buy 1 from villa at sunday 5pm....
crazy.
-
Is this the begging thread?
We'll be buying 3, but we need another 1 - over 65 cat 1...
...erm, or anything, please.
-
I'm also looking to get hold of an extra ticket if anyone can help.
-
I'm in the 3 plus games bracket so will be able to buy from Sunday at 5pm. I want to buy 1 for me and 1 for my son. Is it really only 1 ticket per Fan ID number?
-

Yes afraid so, have to wait until your son is eligible to buy them together
-

Thinks thats normal. Wouldn't really be fair to have more than 1 ticket per fan ID until everyone else has had the opportunity to purchase one.
-
Thanks for the reply
He has a Fan ID too, but I buy all our tickets under my name/ID. So I'm trying to work out if we can buy 1 each or if only I can buy 1...?
On hold to VP at the moment
-
Unless you’re Fulham as someone said above. 5 tickets per person at all stages of eligibility!!
-

They seem to be quite good at responding on twitter if that’s any help, @avfcsupport

Thanks. Ill try that

crazy.
I think they should make 15,000 of the Fulham tickets available as the "neutral stand" as they can never fill their own ground. Seems fair to me!
-
Unless you’re Fulham as someone said above. 5 tickets per person at all stages of eligibility!!
I had an email from Fulham yesterday - I bought a ticket in their neutral end for the Villa game about 10 years ago and now I'm entitled to book up to 5 tickets for Wembley with my single loyalty point. Madness

Guess The Crowd special: How many Villa fans in the Fulham end at the Final?
-
Can someone clarify ordering my ticket tonight take it will be a paper ticket sent to my address and it cost me the price plus £4. Am I right

Have PM'd you Seb.
Did you get my PM this morning? Can't find it between my sent items.
-
I have 2 season tickets and another linked fan Id that meets the plus 3 match criteria. As we want to sit together the only way is to wait, but is there a big risk if I wait for the 3+ window to open ?
-
Hi all I've been to about half the home games this season but can't go to Wembley as unfortunately I'd booked to go to a festival assuming a) the final would be on the Monday as it normally is and b) we'd go up automatically anyway !
Not sure how this works but happy to give my reference to anyone who needs it although I actually think everyone who wants to go will be able to.
-
Yes please. Although there's others who asked before me, so don't know what the etiquette is

Got to number 2 in the queue then the site crashed.
-
99? You must be getting nervous!

Feck

I logged on at 4pm. Got straight through!! All booked. Block 133.
-
Come on, did we really expect this to work ?

I logged on at 4pm. Got straight through!! All booked. Block 133.
4PM? I thought the party started at 5?
-
I logged on at 4pm. Got straight through!! All booked. Block 133.
If I had realised this I would got my tent and union jack umbrella and logged on yesterday.
-
Got to number 2 in the queue then the site crashed.
Did it let you in Dave ?
I'm stuck on that error message.
I've rejoined the queue using another browser
-
I logged on at 4pm. Got straight through!! All booked. Block 133.
4PM? I thought the party started at 5?
I logged on the ticket website at 4pm and It placed me in an online queue. It said it would allocate me a space when the website opened at 5.
5pm came and it allowed me straight through. Did the same for Boro away.
-
I logged on early as well. Initial allocation was random. However, as with Dave Javu, once I got to the front of the queue it crashed
-
Was at no 2, now at 7800-something.
Utterly hacked off. If I don't get the Cat 1's I wanted I'll be SEETHING.
I joined at about 3.35 and got allocated place no 365 at 4.
-
How does it work for booking using multiple tickets using multiple references?
-
I'll tell you in about an hour.
Maybe.
-
I was 1277 and got to the front of the queue and it's crashed on me too. Can't get back in either
-
What browser are you using Dave ?
-
I'm on 2 x desktops.
The first one crashed. The second one is due to let me in, in 3 minutes.
If that one crashes as well, someone's head is going to be banged on the desk at the ticket office tomorrow morning if they try to fob me off with shit seats.
-
I'm three of the people ahead of you in the queue Dave.... on Edge, IE and Chrome.
My original Chrome attempt was the one that crashed
-
Chrome originally, now on Chrome android mobile and Edge on PC
-
Don't use Chrome
-
worryingly that is only one person got a ticket so-far and 3 or 4 who it has crashed for. I did think they should have split the days better so season tickets with X away day one etc but realise time is limited to sort it all.
-
When I rejoined the queue, estimated waiting time was 50-odd minutes, went down to 40 minutes.
And is now an hour again. WANKERS!
-

Same here. The number goes down but the time's all over the place
-
Position in queue just dropped by over fifty but the time went back up by five minutes
-
Mine was Chrome now back on using Internet Explorer. No 10001 with 7348 ahead of me and over an hours wait. Think I'll go and cook the tea whilst I'm waiting !
-
My 2nd log in crashed.
The first one was on internet explorer, the second one was on chrome. Both crashed.
Well done Villa - Great choice of ticketing provider. I would imagine it ill be chaos down there tomorrow - Great, just what we all wanted.
-
Snotty tweet sent to @AVFCSupport
-
Any ideas what time ticket office is open untill ?
-
I should have known it was too good to be true when I saw all those middle tier club Wembley blocks for sale. They were all sold out at 5:13. Which means there were either no / hardly any seats there in the first place or they haven't gone on sale yet. But I couldn't take the risk and booked level 1. Hope you all get to the front of the queue soon.
-
Any ideas what time ticket office is open untill ?
Online office obviously never closes once it opens. Office at VP 5PM.
-
Hmmm, it’s not unprecedented demand is it. Concert tix at Wembley are sold in greater numbers at faster speeds
-
Just got mine ok after 45 minute queue, using chrome. Block 134.
-
I've just downloaded Firefox. What next? Opera?
-
If I worked at the TO, I'd have been straight out the door at 5pm tonight. Those phones must be lit up at the moment with people wanting to moan about the online booking system
-
Managed to get some in Block 133 using Chrome. Very stressful experience which reminded me of Feb 2010, especially when I needed loo when 2 minutes from front of queue!
-
I've just downloaded Firefox. What next? Opera?
I'm saving that for later............. A Night at the Opera ..... :)
-
Managed to get some in Block 133 using Chrome. Very stressful experience which reminded me of Feb 2010, especially when I needed loo when 2 minutes from front of queue!
I gave up on the online / phone booking for the LCF and drove the 75 miles to VP
-
This is more stressful than last night's game
-
Yes.... idiots. front of the queue, a nice bing of music to say being redirected then
"Oops! a general exception has occured, please refer to the system administrator for further details..."

Don't blame you, I was still working at the time and it was a good job my Arsenal supporting boss was very understanding, and didn't mind me being on the Villa website for pretty well 2 successive days! Hope everyone on here gets sorted tonight.
-
No issues at all for me...everything done and dusted in less than 5 minutes including the queue. Block 135
-
Guess The Crowd special: How many Villa fans in the Fulham end at the Final?
Well i have booking history with them and received Email saying i can purchase Sunday ...up to five. So if allowed or able to purchase thats a certain 5.
-
Has anyone had any options yet?
Everyone who posted that they've been able to buy tickets has bought tickets in category 3. Has there been any options for other categories? Also, can you choose your seats like you can for away games?
-
what a crap system.
-
3,107 in the queue. Can almost taste the jellied eels.
-
".....and surprisingly Villa have only taken up the option of four tickets from their 30 thousand plus allocation"
-
>:( :-[ :'(Oops! a general exception has occured, please refer to the system administrator for further details...
-
Queued for an hour, kept crashing, lost my place, now back at it with a queue time of 1 hour.
-
I've managed to get back in. I was originally 1400 in the queue at 5 o clock tonight. Now I'm 7000 with an hours wait.
I don't mind the wait but when you get to your turn and it crashes, it's annoying - Even more so when it looks like there's only a few sections available and everyone is buying those.
-
Has anyone had any options yet?
Everyone who posted that they've been able to buy tickets has bought tickets in category 3. Has there been any options for other categories? Also, can you choose your seats like you can for away games?
I bought category 1 - block 124. you can pick your seats.
-
Sorted. Block 127. Can’t bloody wait!
-
Edge ........ Oops! a general exception has occured, please refer to the system administrator for further details...

Cheers - At least that's one thing.
-
Bombed out second and third times Chrome Android and Edge this time.
'kinell
-
IE and my second Chrome attempt also crashed at the front of the queue
-
I'm now going to set up the laptop as well
-
I am going to try another couple of times if not i'm going to get up early and go down there tomorrow and buy them.
-
One other tip once you get in. It's the blue coloured seats which are still available, not the claret ones.
-
IE and my second Chrome attempt also crashed at the front of the queue
So did my first attempt. One more go ,otherwise phone or go down tomorrow.
-
And me now on both Internet explorer and Chrome and complete silence from tweet to AVFC support
-
Firefox no good. 4th time bombed out.
Remember folks: "Due to the anticipated high demand, we strongly recommend booking online - the easiest and most convenient method of purchasing your ticket."
-
This is one reason why we are away scheme members, it is just easy, I forgot what I pain it is to sort tickets.
-
Same general error for me after over an hour in the virtual queue.
-
Six browsers running on three devices.
Therefore, if you're above 6582 in the queue, take comfort that six of the people ahead of you are me
-
I clicked on the "notify me by email when it's my turn" link. Didn't really bother looking though just stayed on the page.
I got the same general error other people keep getting and got kicked out.
Went into my emails and clicked the link telling me it's my turn, went straight back to the front of queue and was able to purchase second time around.
Then again my dad has tried the same thing and just keeps getting kicked out. Eventually it has kicked him to the back of the queue. Trying again on a laptop now, he says he's got another hour to wait. I expect it won't work and I was one of the lucky ones.
-
Joined the queue waiting 60 mins to be told my login and password were wrong even though I used them to book my ticket for yesterday. Asked for a password reset e-mail but nothing. To say I'm pissed off would be an understatement.
-
Very poor, especially as we had to have sales delayed last Summer (or may have been the one before) and the ticket office closed for weeks while they installed this amazing new system...
-
Two more failures
-
Shit service. Finally got there at the 3rd time of asking. Chuffed as it'll be my first ever visit to 'new' Wembley.
-
I think that the queuing system is working fine, it's the underlying Villa system that's fecked
-
I’m on my third attempt. I’m not feeling confident.
-
No issues for me (unlike the semi-final tickets)
In the queue for an hour - booked in block 136 no problem...
-
Spent an hour in the queue, get though, select the seating area for the tickets & nothing.
Now back in the queue, another 51 mins but using the PC instead of the Ipad.
-
As someone with no booking history or even a reference number, I would be grateful in the extreme if anyone has a spare ticket or access to one. All the games I've been to in the last few years, tickets have always come from other people! Please pm me. Thank you in advance.
-
Joined the queue waiting 60 mins to be told my login and password were wrong even though I used them to book my ticket for yesterday. Asked for a password reset e-mail but nothing. To say I'm pissed off would be an understatement.
Finally able to change my password but fully prepared for it to reject again when I reach the head of the queue for the sixth time. I fucking hate computers!
-
Apologies if already posted. When you get through and get the error message, open another tab and open up the Villa website. Log in there, go to tickets and it takes you straight in. Did for me anyway. Looks like something isn’t pointing right. I failed twice before finding that tip on twitter
-
Has anybody here had any luck in getting a password emailed to them when log in has failed? I have tried this about 3 times in the past month (and again 5 minutes ago) and on each occasion nothing . Before you ask i have checked junk mail.
Somehow I manged to get in to buy the Boro tickets but now I cannot access at all.
Thanks
-
I bet there is a backlog of password resets maybe?
-

-
Finally in and virtually anytrhing decent has already been had.
Fuck the person who designed this shit.
-
I bet there is a backlog of password resets maybe?
Possibly, but I deliberately tested it before the weekend and still nothing was sent to me. Likewise before Millwall away. The password reset just seems to be a dummy button designed by a Bluenose for a laugh
.
-
My dad finally got in and it won't recognise his password... even though it's supposed to be the postcode. Absolute dog shit website.
-
Crashing like a motherfucker.
-
Finally in and nothing on thw screen will work.
I have a stadium.plan. I click on areas and it tells me tickets are left - then does nothing!
Help! what am I doing wrong!
-
Finally got in on 3rd attempt on Firefox. However my niece had managed to get in before me and we are now sorted. More stressful than last night! Think the old days of long queues round the block were better .

Despite all i said above did he try the password reset option?
-
Go there in the end. What a ballsache
-
Crashed again. Trying again.
-
Finally sorted. I had everything - nearly a dozen crashes, confusing layout, re-set password (used system for Middlesbrough tix no probblem), had to do search for assigning other users used system for Middlesbrough tix no probblem), even had one declined payment (think actually I made a mistake cos I was just so stressed)
3 and a half hours of my life gone.
Shite.
Someone needs to speak to Dr Tony about the British obsession of queueing and how we feel when we think some fucker has pushed in in front of us.
-
I've just spent a long time trying to get tickets for people I go to away games with regularly - I always get the tickets by phone and/or online and although it recognised all of them it wouldn't accept two of the three and there didn't seem to be any way round it!
Any ideas?
Other than having to phone tomorrow morning which I was going to do anyway!
-
Finally got in at the second attempt (after 2 hours of queuing). Wouldn't work on an IPad but was OK on a PC using using Chrome, no problems booked within 2-3 mins.
-
My dad finally got in and it won't recognise his password... even though it's supposed to be the postcode. Absolute dog shit website.
Despite all i said above did he try the password reset option?
No.... I think he got fed up with it. He has phoned his friend who he normally sits with and his daughter has apparently managed to get through and buy the tickets.
Phew!
-

Help! what am I doing wrong!

When I click a block literally nothing happens!
Have started again! Trying with the desk top now!
-
It does seem a lot quicker than earlier. Five minutes as opposed to an hour wait.
-

It worked for me eventually after swearing at it for a bit when I couldn't work out how to tell it I wasn't a wheelchair user...
Maybe the block you tried was sold out? I was able to check how many tickets were available with each.
-
I just managed to crack it using the advice above from NS.
I opened up another browser and clicked on "away tickets" - It took me straight to the seating layout.
-
this is crap.....hours of my life wasted watching rubbish, we get somewhere and I just cannot get tickets!
years of having a bloody ST
-
Sorted! Block 128 for me.
-
I feel like saying FI
-
I think they have fixed something as I have got in and sorted it also block 126
-
There's quite a lot of availability left so don't worry. Try using your latest device, updated browser and avoid Internet Explorer.
-
, I was 152 at 5pm, kicked off at 5.11, then 7036 til kicked off at 6,28, now I can't get any access.... season ticket holder forever, really so hacked off
-
It's a shambles. Your best bet is phone them by the sound of it. Expect it will be a nightmare wait, though.
-
I have assigned the 4 tickets I wanted to the individual owners - all STH and in same friendship group - and it's telling me I can't have them because two of them don't qualify...and it's given them fan IDs that are not theirs!
FTF!
-
Still no luck for me and am slowly losing the will to live. Very frustrating.
-
I have got ours now. The first time it just froze when I got through by the look of it. The second time it randomly allocated me an extra ticket which I could neither delete nor provide a reference for, and the third time I made it through.
I would have got better seats the first time through, but we're in and that's that.
-
Got mine now, God knows how, but at 5pm I was 152 in line, so would have had a load of choice but now just snatched at best I could get, lets hope we are better organised on 26th....going for a long lie down, its been a stressful couple of weeks

Cheers, good luck those still trying!!

Was in a queue for a minute and brought a ticket two minutes later. Job’s a good ‘un!

Straight through, no bother.
-
Sorted. You can link references on the purchase page too. They must be holding blocks of seat back as there is no way the have sold that many.
-
Please remember the ticketing web service will not work if you have porn open or in your history. Also please do a virus check so your details are safe.
-
My panicky brother booked ours. "Get front row yellows or back row greens", says I, seeing how you can pick your seat.
I failed to notice that thin strip of yellow right down the bottom, in front of the green.
Pitchside it is, then!

If only you had told me that at 5PM would have saved my 3 hours.

Got mine sorted.
Have 3 up in 530 but near the front for £66.
Time for a drink methinks.
-
Waited in a queue for 30 minutes, got in, chose seats, then got thrown out and had to wait another 40 minutes. It was tremendous fun. All sorted now though.
-
My dad finally got in and it won't recognise his password... even though it's supposed to be the postcode. Absolute dog shit website.
Despite all i said above did he try the password reset option?
No.... I think he got fed up with it. He has phoned his friend who he normally sits with and his daughter has apparently managed to get through and buy the tickets.
Phew!
Well done. Did she manage online or by phone?
I can’t apply till Sunday so am wetting myself there will be none left by then, particularly as my log in is iffy. Several people have told me it will go down to general sale though
-
No chance it will sell out before Sunday.
-
It will make general sale easily.
-
It will reach booking history this season, general sale most likely but I wouldn't say easily.. Probably a lot of folks have gone to 1 or 2 games so maybe a couple of thousand will make gs.
-
Fulham have sold 23,000 so far.

Online. It's not on telephone sale until 9am tomorrow.
-
Fulham have sold 23,000 so far.
That should be about plenty for them then, they should drive the rest of the tickets up to VP post haste.
-
Seemed like the turning point for me was finally getting the password reset email.
This finally arrived about 5 hours arter the request was sent.
Once I’d logged in with the new password I got straight in.
Cheers all. Enjoy the build up to the great event.
-
Considering anyone that has ever bought a ticket in their neutral end can buy 5 i'd imagine there will be some Villa in there.
-
Can we change the title to ‘Don’t panic’?
I’ve never seen such flapping over tickets.
You are mainly local people so have no need to flap.
-
I don't think it's unreasonable that people are a bit peeved if they spend in excess of an hour waiting online then get kicked out and have to start again.
The club should do better.
-

It’s because we will easily sell out our allocation of 38k unlike your club.
-
Unless they're holding tickets back, there's only 246 left in the lower tier compared to a good few thousand early evening yesterday.
-
I have a bit of a dilemma. My tickets are sorted but I need to buy 2 more for family members. One has been to 6 games and the other has been to 2. They would much rather they sit together than me buying 2 single seats.
Should I buy them individually to at least guarantee one ticket, or should I want until I can buy 2 together when the criteria drops to one match attended, which brings the risk of missing out altogether?
-

I had the same dilemma. My dad, brother and I are ST holders. My girlfriend is 7 months pregnant. She's adamant she's coming to the match. And bring her lad.
I bought our ST ticket seats last night. And I'll buy my partners on Sunday. Really wanted her to be near by.
-
I’m a wreck because only have 2 match references due to poor planning on sharing out references. Desperately hoping there are still some left by 1+ on Monday
-
There will still be tickets left next Wednesday/Thursday I reckon.

Considering you said the play off semi wouldn’t sell out, that doesn’t give me too much confidence! 😉

Ignore Ayup. It's just his way of saying it's a dreadful site, but he's still here.
-
I am angry but now I've slept on it, i can accept that the volume of traffic has contributed to the problems. In previous seasons, they've sold by the stand your ST is in, so the Trinity always had first choice of seats. At least this way, everyone had an equal opportunity even if it was a bit of a lottery whether you got through or not.
I'm in the area i wanted to be in, albeit not as good position as i would have been had I got in 3 hours earlier. Oh well, if we pull it off, all will be forgiven.
With regards to those with 3 games on their references, looking at the wording on the website, I'd say that you're guaranteed a ticket. It's only after your date that it states "subject to availability "
-
It will reach booking history this season, general sale most likely but I wouldn't say easily.. Probably a lot of folks have gone to 1 or 2 games so maybe a couple of thousand will make gs.
There are loads who've been to 3 games, but I wouldn't mind betting that a large percentage of those haven't put it on their own booking history - therefore they will land in the 'general sale' group.
-
I'm sure 3+ home will be fine.
I'm gambling on the any home booking history (had a year with loads happen, used tix not allocated to me, live in London and go to more away games, had multiple overseas trips including wedding etc newly wifey had first VP/Holte Exp on Tues, it was rocking eh :P).
As two of our 4 are over £65 and so half price & a bit broke I'm passing on the three club wembley tix I have access to found to be in the Villa end and just come through at the Cat 1 price of only £98.
Tempted, but am keeping my word to Seb in Belgium (Belgium has been good to me over the years)
Will be an anxious wait until Monday evening and I may regret this but prefer to not let someone down. Sorry others those are the only ones I had access to, but thought useful to know the price.
If I fail on Monday I'll be back here begging, but trust in the laws of the universe/good folk of H&V!
-
Even offering each Fulham ST holder 5 tickets won't fill their allocation. I'd fully expect us to get some more tickets given to us.
-
It will if Villa fans are buying them! I know some who have got their 5 already - before we are anywhere near selling out!
-

Careful - you're heading down the Small Heath road, and that'a bad, bad road to travel.
-
The last two Championship play off finals were 76k and 70k attendances and this won't be much more due to segregation etc
I'd expect us to take around 40k and Fulham 25k with several thousand neutrals on top of that
-
Interestingly Fulham say they sold 22.5k tickets yesterday. Lots of complaints on twitter that up to a quarter of those are now on secondary sites for £150 plus due to the 5 ticket thing
-

Can get mine now, but waiting until Sunday for someone who meets the criteria for then. Just been on the site to see what is available and have to say that there seems to be an awful lot of areas that are sold out already and the remaining areas only seem to have a few hundred tickets left. Are the tickets being released in stages because there doesn't seem to be that many left at the moment.
-

Jesus! I know it's "the £100m game" but that's a bit steep for a ticket!!!
-
Not exactly a bargain to be had for any heavy drinkers out there!
Club Wembley Diamond Package allows you to put as much ale down your neck before, at half time and after game for one hour. All for the princely sum of 369 inc vat.
Oh you get to watch the game in the surroundings of the rather sterile neutral Bobby Moore Lounge as well and get the chance to not wear your Villa shirt....
Also you get 3 plates of snap to keep your pecker up....
Not for me but anyone looking for a way of making game who may struggle to get a ticket otherwise should take a look.
I'm sure somebody on here will work out how many pints they need to drink to make it work.....!
Reminds me, i must up my game with my Wembley marketing sales pitches........

Maybe I should go Fulham route only. If only we could organise villa i Fulham block. Also where the singing section could be ;)
FYI I heard from my bro in law
"Unfortunately club Wembley sold out in less than an hour on villa side . There are still east side available""
-
For those of you going please make sure you are in the correct singing/non singing, standing/seating sections or it will be chaos on the day.

Ha!!! I loved that guy!

If they're flogging 5 tickets to anybody that's ever driven through Fulham then they will. If there will be 38,000 Fulham actually there I would be surprised.
-
The club must know how many fans reach the 3+ criteria as the online system only enables access once your criteria are met.
Therefore, they should communicate and let people know that if the allocation is greater than the number of fans with season tickets , membership and 3+ home attendance records, than all those fans are guaranteed a ticket if they want one.
If Fulham are letting people how many are sold so far, are we doing likewise anywhere?
-
Would be surprised if we sell out completely think people are panicking far too early. If anyone needs a Fulham ref as I sat in the neutral end last season the Easter game
-

I agree. It's always the same, everyone panics the first few days. Against Chelsea in 2010 people were panicking and we only just sold out 33k. Against Man Utd in the Carling Cup Final there were tickets still available on the Friday, two days before the game, as my Dad bought one and we only had 31k.
As I said earlier I think anyone who wants a ticket will get one and they'll still be available late next week.

The FA Cup final in 2015 went to general sale if I remember rightly.
On a tangent, I hope everyone gives the club some stick over these Manchester muppets that they've entrusted with dealing with our fans - They clearly don't care twopence. It reminds me of the bad old days when Reg Gutteridge or whatever his name was, was in charge of ticketing.
-
2015 went down to 5 credits
-

But on a lower allocation - can you remember how many c28k feels about right ?

FA Cup Final was only 25k tickets. The semi was 33k which went to general sale I believe.
-
Basically we are not man ure quite yet. Can’t see anyone who really needs a brief not getting one
-
I would disagree that us ticket buyers from yesterday were "panicking".
Some of us (me) care about our location in the stadium and after securing a place in the queue expecting to be dealt with within 10 minutes, it was an utterly frustrating experience to spend the next 3 hours being repeatedly being bombed out of the site, only to ultimately discover the seats we should have got were long gone.
If you're lucky enough to be in the first tranche, then who wouldn't want their first preference?
-

100% this.
Ironically, new blocks have become available today that are in far better positions than the ones that were available to me last night. I didn't have the option of a £98 seat last night but an entire block appeared this morning.
I spent an hour on the phone this morning, only to be put through to the Manchester company, where I was met with some girl who couldn't care less and told me to email the club. I then spent another hour waiting to get through to the club only to be told that it was not up to them when the blocks were issued but by Wembley themselves and that they couldn't exchange seats. Whether this is true or not, I don't know but it is clear that nobody gives a toss about the fans or where they end up sitting.
I appreciate that they only have a short time in which to distribute tickets but the way they have done it stinks.
-

I had a big row with him in the old ticket office in the North Stand. It was back in the day when we had those cards that had a stamp for every away game you went to. I found out that box holders and corporates could get tickets without attending any previous games or having a stamped card.
In hindsight I can see how naïve I was but at the time I was young and idealistic, now I'm much older and cynical about almost everything that ever happens. Anywhere. Ever.

That's him - I was getting mixed up with the boxing commentator.
He was an absolute arrogant arsehole and all his staff thought they could talk to their paying customers the same way. I don't know who he thought he was but he should never, ever have been let loose on the general public, his customer service skills were none existent. I ended up just winding him up every time I went in there.

Hi all for those who don't want to stand, get tickets which are not behind the goals. This is based on our previous visits to Wembley finals at the new Wembley, where everyone behind the goal upper middle and lower tier were standing. We have to think of those who want to sit, so let's segregate standing supporters to those who want to sit.

The club Wembley seats have become available today - which is where I wanted to sit - but I couldn't risk that this would definitely happen and so booked elsewhere. If other years are anything to go by, the absolute best seats will become available for non season-ticket holders - this year this will be club Wembley on the halfway line (I don't think the Playoff Final is included in club Wembley season tickets). It doesn't seem very fair.

I'm afraid people seem to stand everywhere at Wembley - each of the last 3 times I've been, I've been on the sidelines lower tier and people have stood. The last 2 times, I've witnessed parents with children threatened with violence for asking people to sit down. At the FA Cup Final, the aggressor was actually a parent too and his own child started crying.
-
Anyone know how much we've sold so far? Roughly of course - I get that they're shifting by decent numbers in real time.
-
Are we designating a date/time to start panicking about the non-arrival of tickets ?

I considered trying to get tickets as a surprise for my son but notice that the only time we've been this season both tickets were assigned to my client reference. On the plus side I won't be as skint as I thought I'd be.

Wednesday next week I say.

It did say that which was why I was prepared to wait for the blocks I wanted. But when I got on yesterday, block 124 (category 1) was on sale which is more south than most of the club Wembley blocks (also category 1) - it is nearly on the halfway line - so this made me think they weren't going from north to south (which really they aren't).
Club Wembley is probably now going to be released from north to south but in terms of category 1, it's gone - very south, then less south, then more south again. Nest it will be "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart.

I actually got level 2 last night at around 8ish but this was after you'd already posted that you'd purchased. There wasn't much available but I managed to get 3 together right in the corner.
The whole thing has been an absolute shambles.
This morning, block 229 became available.
-
Moaning at the fact you've got a bloody ticket. It's all a bit silly really isn't it? What a silly obsession to have, which exact seat you have in a ground holding 90k+.
Still horses for courses. Could have been worse, it might have been a Cup Final and you'd have been even more restricted; not that you'd' have wanted to go of course.

532-544 have been standing at the last 4 vists, use previous standing areas as an indication as to where standing will take place in the play off final.
-
I was in block 532 last time we were there and this guy kept screaming at me to stand up and support the team. When he realised I'm a dwarf who was wearing a top hat and platform shoes and I was standing on my seat he felt really silly, that'll learn him.
-
Are we designating a date/time to start panicking about the non-arrival of tickets ?
We printed them weeks ago (in Redditch) so it's all down to Wembley now.
-
Quick question chaps .anybody know if inside wembley the concourse goes all the way round with no segregation as may be getting a ticket in Fulham end and want to walk round to my mates cheers if anyone knows .
-
I am in the second criteria, not a season ticket holder but have been to over 3 league gamess this season so I can buy mine on Sunday, but for people with other supporters in the family, how do you get tickets for them? I could wait til general sale but I'm guessing they would be sitting miles away from me. What are other people doing?

Against Man Utd in 2010 and against Liverpool me and my mates weren't sat together but you can walk round the concourse. I just went and stood by them. It's hard to all get tickets together.

The only free movement area is Club Wembley circle. All other tiers whilst connected are locked at various points.
-
I have 2 season tickets and another linked fan Id that meets the plus 3 match criteria. As we want to sit together the only way is to wait, but is there a big risk if I wait for the 3+ window to open ?
Long as you don't mind where you sit, no.

Cheers olaf

Fulham have now sold 29,000. One of my neighbours (Fulham) just called to say he's has 5 each off his and his sons season tickets and on Monday when it goes to members he's getting another 10 of two mates that are members and flogging them out for a profit.
-
Club Wembley seats are on sale for the wallet fans.
what do you expect from a pointless club, they may as well merge with Brentford.
-
Agreed, Club Wembley are shit. What have they ever won?
-
Does anyone know a Villa fan that has bought a ticket in the Fulham end... then who is buying all these fulham tickets.
-
As above Fulham fans are buying 5 in the hope of flogging them on to us

Excellent, hope he gets stuck with them all.
-
At the rate that Fulham have been selling them and the ease at which their tickets are obtainable, I can't see them ever being in demand in a month of Sundays, let alone someone paying over face value for one.
-

their Chelsea mates.

When there's thousands standing at the final we should sing are you watching Tracey Crouch.

What you got against Peter's Mom?
-

Indeed. Anyone buying them up to sell on hasn't really thought through their business plan.
-
Yup, I reckon anyone who wants one will get one from our allocation. For everyone worrying about not getting one there will be a home regular who doesn’t fancy it for whatever reason.
-
Does anyone know a Villa fan that has bought a ticket in the Fulham end... then who is buying all these fulham tickets.
Like the neutral end at Fulham there are a number of Fulham fans who think they know people- not necessarily true fans, just friends in London - who will be interested in a match (this time at Wembley). It’s not a big deal for a Londoner to jump on the tube at 3pm, watch a big game and be home by 8pm to join in their planned evening entertainment.
-
Blimey. If Fulham have emailed EVERY fan that have bought a ticket in their Neutral End over the last few years offering 5 tickets, then they will truly have messed it up for real Fulham fans as that must be 1,000s of non Fulham fans x 5 than can take their allocation. I can see a lot of neutral and Villa in their end.
-
I think i saw something somewhere (i know, very precise) saying that our ticketsd would be released starting from the north then block by block heading west and south.
I don't have tix yet, I think there is simply a need to be calm and judge things from our prior uptakes, comparisons with FA semi & League Cup final (not lesser FA Cup final allocation).
This has happened every time that people have been unhappy with a caregory they got from what was on offer when they first had chance to book, instead of waiting for new blocks to be released.
Re: the Southerly Block 124 etc going on sale early doors and going against the advertised North to South selling, well *all* our Cat 1 are towards the southern halfway line, so presuming some of those are available at each stage, to give all a chance to buy a range of ticket categories, of course some southerly pricey tix will buck the general selling strategy.
Given the very full details the club had on view the night of the semi, common sense, and our past experience, it all seems to have gone to plan. Of course in such short windows long waits will happen, but system crashes shouldn't.
It's also previously been suggested (correctly I think?) the club wouldn't put down a category of general sale if they didn't think we'd get there (from their records of numbers eligible in each category), I certainly hope so as it'd mean I'll be sorted, but, this is exceptional circumstances and maybe there was a need to think ahead more. We'll see.
Also will be fascinating how much Villa in the Fulham end, and how empty. If there is that much over buying by them, I reckon there might even be some below face value tix around. That said I think this is an attractive neutral's game for a tourist/after your own club's season is over.
If ever there was a wembley visit to travel to without a ticket in hand,*this* is it.
-
I'd rather watch it on telly than sit with a load of Fulham fans.
-
I’ve read somewhere that offers of tix for Fulham neutral end purchasers exclude ones purchased against Villa.
-
Hi all for those who don't want to stand, get tickets which are not behind the goals. This is based on our previous visits to Wembley finals at the new Wembley, where everyone behind the goal upper middle and lower tier were standing. We have to think of those who want to sit, so let's segregate standing supporters to those who want to sit.

Thanks for keeping a log. I was worried I'd be in the wrong section...

Having just logged in to see what's left in each block, it's starting to look very low indeed already. Hovering over each block, it's telling me this:
Top tier: 2,858 remaining
Middle tier: 182 remaining
Bottom tier: 988 remaining
Total: 4,028
My son and I are ST holders but want to bring along my girlfriend and other son (there we haven't secured our tickets yet) who are in the 3+ games category that opens on Sunday. If those numbers remaining are accurate, Sunday at 5pm is going to be one almighty scramble online.
-
With an allocation of 38,000, if there’s only 4,000 left it does make you wonder where 34,000 season ticket holders have come from....
-
Some blocks haven't been released yet or have only been partly released. I reckon we've sold around 23,000.
-
The thing that has surprised me about the distribution of final tickets is the length of window for SSN tkt holders and members to purchase their tkts and the fact that there wasn't a 5th category eg for 10+ match ticket holders before going down to 3+ on Sunday. Someone who attended scum, wolves and the playoff semi at home has the same opportunity as someone who's a non SSN tkt holder, but has attended quite a few home games over the season.
-

Exactly. It's on the villa website that they will be released block by block so while the numbers left appear to be low, tickets haven't been released for a good chunk of the ground yet. Not sure why they do it like this though and just not open the whole of the allocation to those who can buy seats.
-
Block 245 was shown as sold out on Wednesday evening....we got tickets in there pretty comfortably yesterday afternoon! They've definitely held some back....in all areas/blocks I would imagine. UTFV!
-
I’ve read somewhere that offers of tix for Fulham neutral end purchasers exclude ones purchased against Villa.
I read it too.

thanks for that il send it round to all the whats app group's im in, to create a a situation where there's a higher density of standing supporters together to avoid those who want to sit.

I would guess it's because if there's any shortfall in ticket sales better to have a full block and an empty one that two that are half-full. This will help segregation and also mean that if one club sells more than another, extra tickets can be made available for the one who's sold out.
-
One for the experts. If we get another 2,000 odd tickets returned from Fulham, will 40,000 be the biggest Villa crowd since Wembley 96? (assuming there are more than 2,660 away fans at a sell out VP)
-
If anyone could help me out for one ticket that would be great.

I think we had a load against Bolton, maybe 50,000, as they never even got close to shifting their allocation.

No - It's because they are trying to ensure that there is always availability across the spectrum, rather than there being limited options on priced/categories.
I'm very supportive of the ticket office but I don't think they've covered themselves in glory this time around. Blocks are popping up all over the place for purchase at random times. It should have been made available across the board on a first come, first serve basis. I can half live with perhaps the last blocks on one side being kept back for segregation but in doing so, you would be holding back prime seats.
-
It astonishes me there's value in re-selling for the play off final. Some of the prices on here are crazy - https://www.livefootballtickets.com/fixtures/championship-play-off-final-tickets-football-league-championship-play-off.html
Are people really paying that? Come Sunday/Monday it'll be pretty easy to get a ticket. I can't believe they're going 4x the price right now.

I cant imagine we have sold 34k tickets already.

548 548 549 550 551 552 501 definitely sitting.
-
I'm towards the back of 128. Sitting in there too.
-
Spoke to Wembley about some hospitality tickets this morning, and they're being deluged by requests from Villa fans. Fulham fans, not nearly as much apparently.

It's brilliant that this has all been sorted well in advance, last time it was a nightmare, nobody knew whether they were 'Gurdian' readers or standing.
-
Is block 534 mostly for standers
-
I'm in 534. Am I sitting or standing? I was planning to maybe have a bit of a lean midway through the second half, will that be okay?
-
Funny

Maybe if you lean backwards so the back of your seat breaks your fall you could get away with a lean?

20,600 sold by 2pm today according to Express and Star.
Cant imagine theyll sell too many more now before 5pm Sunday?

Are you still moaning? Really, it's such a silly thing for you to go on about. The vast majority of fans will be happy to be going and couldn't give a toss about your block and ticket.

I might just lie in the aisle, I shouldn't upset the sitters OR the standers too much then.
My latest conundrum... is 534 a pitch invaders' section of a booing pitch invaders section? I'd hate to have my lack of North Birmingham working class credentials exposed by a grass incursion faux pas.
-
135 is kids standing on chairs block

So what's that, about 2k-3k season ticket holders and members haven't bought a ticket? Always thought they'd made the s/t holder window too long and general sale too short.

I reckon I’d be only capable of reading googly goo by kick off

Please. I'm tired of all this. As you very well know with the release of African Car Reverser's Magnum Opus, "Finding childish ways to ruin your own life" you will find a hidden (13th) track, after 6mins silence at the end of track 12.
If you record this on to reel to reel tape, then play it backwards at quarter speed it contains very clear and specific instructions of where one may sit and politely join in nice songs, and where yow can stand and scream at the bluenoses, away from them big saft babbys.
That or just enjoy the fact you have a day out at Wembley?
-
One thing that is gonna give us some kind of advantage on the day will be the intensity of our support .......just remember the atmosphere we generated against Liverpool when as a collective we realised we were on the way to a great victory - The Villa end was bouncing ... not many of us were sitting down on that day.
We don't get there often let's show the watching world what Aston Villa is all about - all the whining about pitch invasions, allocation of seating, and standing saddens me .... do we really want sanitised football with no passion or atmosphere?
Perhaps some will be happy with a free flag to wave or clapper so we can rival Fulham in the quest to be like American sports spectators.
Me and VCTM jnr are down for the weekend and will make the most of every moment - win or lose we are gonna enjoy ourselves
We should all be focusing our energy on backing the team and manager to the hilt .......UTV

If it is true that Fulham fans are able to purchase up to five tickets each is that not almost condoning the resale of tickets at a profit and encouraging people to compromise segregation by selling to opposition fans or touts ?

I thought of you on Tuesday night VCTM. I was chatting to a Scouser before kick off in the Holte - Phil i think his name was and his young lad Liam - and he was saying he was desperate for a reason not to be in Liverpool next Saturday. His wish came true. Can't be easy supporting Villa in Liverpool. Easier than being a Toffee though!
He also told me Liverpool's club shop is in the city centre, postcode Liverpool 1, so the shop is called by that name. Everton then opened their own shop and have called it Everton 2.
-
The volume of Fulham end tickets going for £150-800 is astounding. But what did they expect?
They'll be large swathes of unoccupied seats in their end.

their local rivals are Chelsea but Chelsea have more rivalry with West ham and spurs. Their fans don't fill the pubs up on match day.
-
F*** em F*** em all Spurs, West ham and Millwall. That's what Chelsea sing why don't Chelsea include Fulham in this song, it's cos Fulham are a point less club whose fans have no identity.

Me and VCTM jnr are down for the weekend and will make the most of every moment - win or lose we are gonna enjoy ourselves
We should all be focusing our energy on backing the team and manager to the hilt .......UTV
Everton then opened their own shop and have called it Everton 2.
they did... Next door

Your right about Fulham supporters being like yank spectator types. Their wankers no identity, midddle class commi scum.
I too am sick of these American-style sport(s) fans and their incessant grunting about dialectical materialism. With their faces all painted.

F*** em F*** em all Spurs, West ham and Millwall. That's what Chelsea sing why don't Chelsea include Fulham in this song, it's cos Fulham are a point less club whose fans have no identity.
Why did you choose to return?
-
Spoke to Wembley about some hospitality tickets this morning, and they're being deluged by requests from Villa fans. Fulham fans, not nearly as much apparently.
Pretty sure at previous play off finals Club Wembley (the middle tier) has been half empty for many games.
What was the attendance last year?
Can see Villa overspill in that area easily.

What a bizarre post. It's something I'd imagine finding on a Birmingham City page.

Fulham are a good club and their supporters are decent human beings. You of course wouldn’t know what that is.

Previous two, Sheff Weds-Hull only got to 70k which surprised me.
Boro Norwich was 85k which also surprised me.
I'd imagine given they're selling blocks that Wembley will leave the Fulham ones right next to the Villa section to the end. If Fulham can't sell them they'll give them to us.
Can see us taking 40k + in the end with also a decent chunk in the posh middle tier. Fulham 30k ish.#
So don't really see the panic for tickets, if you really want one you'll get one (might have to pay stupid amount but that's what happens for Cup finals) as likely to be close to 50k Villa in all parts of the ground on the day.

I'm curious if he/she has ever been to a sports match in the US, Aftab.
I went to see the Raiders play many years ago in the NFL. They were as far removed from the 'no identity, yank spectator type'(whatever that means) as you could possibly get.
I'd imagine Fulham supporters have a common identify; Fulham supporters.

Hull only sold around 25k, Wednesday had about 40k.
The highest ever for a Championship play off final was Derby v QPR, 87k+

Some blocks haven't been released yet or have only been partly released. I reckon we've sold around 23,000.
Exactly. It's on the villa website that they will be released block by block so while the numbers left appear to be low, tickets haven't been released for a good chunk of the ground yet. Not sure why they do it like this though and just not open the whole of the allocation to those who can buy seats.
I would guess it's because if there's any shortfall in ticket sales better to have a full block and an empty one that two that are half-full. This will help segregation and also mean that if one club sells more than another, extra tickets can be made available for the one who's sold out.
I may be wrong
It's taken a long time coming Clumpy but at last.....Spot on me old pal.

Ticket has arrived. That’s a suprisingly prompt service considering the debacle of the ordering process
-
Another spare ID request to the pile - trying to get my little brother in Ireland a ticket for his 20th birthday. The poor bugger has been a fan for the past decade, he got spoilt in his first season (2007/08) and presumed we scored 70+ goals and finished top six every year. He nearly punched a hole in the wall the day Troy Deeney scored a late winner against us at Watford in the relegation season...basically, the boy's done his penance.
-
Anyone who purchased on Wednesday for upper blocks like me tickets were only sent out Friday afternoon
-
Haven't got mine yet. Disgrace shambles sack the Board, etc.
-
Ours have just popped through the letterbox.
-
No tickets so far. The club is a complete and utter shamble.
-
Popped to the shop at 9.30 this morning & the ticket queue amounted to 3 people, maybe they could have opened the next selling group for today rather than tomorrow :-)
-
Tickets arrived yesterday.
-
I would have thought all season ticket holders would be sorted by now apart from those wanting to sit with non season ticket holding mates. Surely it would have made sense starting the 3+ games category tomorrow morning especially for people buying in person with it being a Sunday? 5 o’clock seems a weird time to start selling online.
-
Got mine today.
Ventured into the ticket office just after nine, 4th in the queue. In & out in 15 minutes.
Tickets to be posted.

What do people reckon the odds are of getting tickets when they go on general sale?
We've probably sold 21k. After the 3+ window I reckon another 12k-14k will have bought them. In my opinion there will be 3k-5k for general sale.

It's 3+ tomorrow, then booking history this season and then general sale.

Sorry dude, didn't ask!
I might of heard wrong but thought I overheard that 16k was sold in one day, queues around the block Thursday and that they were steady yesterday.
Asked the chap over the counter about if he thought they'd go on general sale, he wasn't sure but they might just was his answer.

I reallly hope that everyone gets sorted. I would add that people have had weeks if not months to assist themselves in this situation and there are going to be some genuine situations but also some poor sob stories.
As for people thinking this is a golden opportunity to make a mint, you cannot do this in football either phyically and it's wrong morally. Anyone tempted to pay daft money for a ticket, well you could have attended at least a few games during the season if you now want to spend £150.00 plus - so don't be tempted to lace the pockets of some tout now.

Sorry but the begging bowl is coming out. I’m after a reference to use for my lad as despite me thinking I’d assigned his tickets to his fan ID, other than the QPR game it seems I haven’t. As we refunded those tickets when the game got rearranged (don’t take him to night games due to him only being five) it looks like it won’t count. . If anyone can help with one with even just one game on it then that’d be appreciated.

I would say that a very maximum of 25,000 tickets have been sold (probably a few less). They have only been made available to ST holders and hospitality customers. With the 3,000 that you've counted, I'd say that leaves another 10,000 tickets still to come on sale at some point.

From someone that asked TO, "the guy I spoke to said he can't see them not going on general sale."
-
re: three home game criteria "they advised there aren't enough people who meet that criteria to sell out"
-
Good news for most then How many tickets are we getting in total?
-
re: three home game criteria "they advised there aren't enough people who meet that criteria to sell out"
This is reflected in the wording of the official sales criteria released by the club.
Season ticket holders/Hospitality customers are guaranteed tickets, as are 3+ client reference holders for this season.
Only when it comes down to the 3rd step in the criteria - "Anyone with a booking history this season" does the club ad the phrase: "Subject to availability".
Reading that, I would say that technically, anyone who has attended just one game this season has a chance of getting a ticket but to be certain, they need to be ready to move quickly tomorrow at 5pm. Personally, I still think it will go down to general sale before selling out.
-
If anybody has a spare ticket or reference I would be interested in purchasing it.

When i bought mine on Wednesday i logged on about 16:54 and joined a queue of approx 440 people sorted by 17:06.....nothing untoward happened to me.

In the queue, 48 mins estimated wait. 7675 ahead of me

I started queuing at about 420. Now have 2093 in front of me but it's moving quite quickly.

There are enough tickets for you, you will be fine and good luck

Pretty sure it will be ok but still bit nervous

Hope the website doesn't play up today, good luck all.

5542 ahead and 34 mins left

Joined queue at 4.25pm. Queue-it stated everybody who joined queue pre-5pm would be given random queue number at 5pm. When opened I was allocated 6 mins waiting time. Got my ticket confirmed by 5.16pm. Good job all round. I was aware that at 5.05 queue was approx. 8300 but people may be on multiple devices. Come on the Villa! UTV!

Confirmation email, took a little while for me too, but came through no probs. I took photo of transaction page and ref number before logging off Villa just for my own peace of mind.

Gutted for you. The bloke in Area 239, Row 11, Seat 298 is 7 foot 5.
-
Circa 7000 sales in an hour.
-
What do we reckon then? Anywhere between 22k and 24k before today, another 7k today leaves 7-9k. Based on those numbers I can’t see it going to general sale, surely there are that many people with 1+ looking to go.
Excluding any returns from Fulham.
Exciting stuff, I’m just glad to have got the bug back
-
I'm not taking my ticket so there's one extra that will be available to go to general sale.
-
I'd say we've sold around 29 to 30 thousand at the moment.
I can't see Fulham doing anything but selling out. If it was 1 ticket per fan they'd have sold 25k at best, but giving all of them 5 has just seen third party sites saturated with over priced tickets. That's been since they went on sale too.
Fulham will sell 38.5k but there won't be close to that inside the ground.
-
Hard to know how many we've sold as we're holding blocks back for each criteria. So unless the club say, it's very much educated guesses.
-

Hi all,
sorry but I am asking for a client ref with booking history for this season. I have a ticket myself but one of my best mates wants to take his son. It would be his sons 1st game and he is a really top bloke who worked at the club for about 6 years at the old Holte end kiosk and probably sold someone on here a ticket.
I hope one of you can help but I know its a bit cheeky.
Thank you
-
Also looking for one more ref/ticket. One of our group has only been to away games with us so might miss out. Any help most appreciated. Cheers Dorset Villa
-
I've already got tickets for me and my daughter but my son(he's 15) isn't eligible until they go on general sale. The t's & c's state no unaccompanied children. I'm assuming that as long as he is in the same block as us then he will be ok, even if we are not actually sat together. Any thoughts?
-
Lifelong Villa regular coming in peace ✌️
I already have one £76 ticket for Wembley and I am eligible to purchase a second one this evening. My dilemma is that these 2 tickets are not together and I am desperately looking to trade them for 2 tickets that are together so that Mrs KV can sit with me at the game !
I may even consider swapping my 2 x £76 tickets for 2 x £64 tickets together if anyone is able to assist. Otherwise I may be forced to play the waiting game until the General Sale window.........

Just got mine, pretty painless. Would like to take my father in law for his birthday if they go on general sale - presumably I'll have to set up an ID for him then? Doubt he's got one already.
When on general sale how many can you get per person?
Still one per fan ID
-
Just a quick question - if someone has been good enough to lend you a booking reference and you are only after one ticket, can you log in and assign them to your booking history, and would the ticket be sent to your address or the address of the person whose booking reference you have used?

As I understand it you can add them as your friend or family (then assign the ticket to their Id) but only if they don’t already have existing friend and family links on the system. Tickets will all go to the address of the main booker

They’ll be sent to your address. It’s quite simple. Just select seats then assign tickets then the tickets will be sent to your address. I’ve bought 7 tickets with differentVilla IDs, and all have been sent to my address.
-
You can allocate the ids when you book too, even if they were linked previously.

When preparing in advance, if when you add a ID as linked to yours (so they are always listed in your account), if I tick the 'permission to buy each other tickets' it always bombs out, but if you leave it unchecked then it adds the person and you can allocate tix fine.
-
Less than 1k left in the Fulham end.
-
One single ticket required here if any kindly soul can help.
-
One source on Twitter saying 27k sold. Thought it would be more than that?
Although, another fella saying he was told there are around 2k left by the ticket office
-
One ticket required if anyone has a reference going spare....?

Obviously we're all guessing but I wonder if less than we thought bought in the 3+ category? By the time you take out anyone without the foresight to allocate references correctly, or anyone holding back to buy with friends/family in the 1+ , I wonder how many actually had 3+ references and were in a position to buy with their mates.
Either way, expecting tonight to be busy on the website
-
Read somewhere (think on here?) that the majority of Club Wembley sales are going to Villa fans? If true, we could be looking at 45k there, which is nearly half what Blues took
-
With the one ticket per ID, I imagine a lot of people will be separated from their mates/family. I'm not sure whether to get one for myself today when I become eligible or coordinate with my brother tomorrow so that we both book one each at the same time to maximise the chance of getting seats next to each other.
-
Ordered mine online last monday , still not received them. If people order online tonight , are they going to trust the postal service ?
-

I was looking at the Bobby Moore section for friends (the part behind the dugout that is always empty for 15 minutes of each half) and they simply stipulate no colours. Have turned this down for myself as I need to be able yo give vent to my emotions and will probably take my moth eared flag that was in Rotterdam.
A mate was trying to get us tickets in the Villa end via Wembley and they had sold out of the Villa section but Fulham section is available. However of the 2 clubs apparently Fulham have sold more. Make of that what you will.
-
What do you mean Pat? We've sold out the Club Wembley bit? Sorry I'm being a bit dense here.
-
Fulham have sold more, they've only got 40 tickets left in their end. They could buy 5 tickets though, if we could have done that we'd have sold out last Friday.
-
PS I was in Bobby Moore for the Liverpool game, three of us in claret and blue surrounded by a sea of red. They don't uphold the no colours rule - at least they didn't for us. And we were out of our seats for both goals!

2 of our mates were in there as well for the Liverpool game - Pat got them their tickets. They went yampy when we scored and were told to cool it by the stewards. The funniest thing was, a clip of our goal was shown for a couple of years on all HD TV screens in Curry's/Pc World and John Lewis stores (in London, at least). Every time I went into either shop, there was a constant loop of our mates going apeshit on every TV in the shop. Quite a claim to fame.
-
According to OurAVFC on Twitter who have been spot on all week, there are1800 left on sale at the moment, with 5000 still to be released in other blocks.
-
31200 sold then. Category change again today at 5 isn't there?
-
Yeah, changes at 5pm to people with any booking history this season. I reckon a few are waiting to buy tickets with friends/family and sit together. I know a few people who haven't been putting their tickets on their own ID this season so they've got 0 or 1 game and their mates are waiting to buy together.
I said the other day there would be 3k-5k left for general sale and I still think that looks spot on.
-
For those who have already bought - what was the average waiting time?
-

We've sold more than I thought at this stage.
7-8000 have been sold with the category change yesterday. There probably wont be more than 2-3000 more come Wednesday.

Ordered mine online last monday , still not received them. If people order online tonight , are they going to trust the postal service ?
You did well to order them the day before we confirmed our place!
Now that is forward planning!
-
For those who have already bought - what was the average waiting time?
Was quoted a waiting time of about 40 odd minutes when I logged on to get mine last night and it was quicker than that. There isn't the waiting screen there was yesterday, so if you log in now and stay logged in until 5pm, will you be able to buy then?

That was my plan but once it refreshed it went to the Queue It screen, which seems to have started now in advance of 5pm. Good luck all!

no, anyone logged in before 5pm will get put into a random position in the queue at 5pm.
-
Got put in a queue at 5pm and it was only a five minute wait. All booked.
-
Logged in just after 5pm all done in 10 minutes!
There only seems to be seats left right at the top.
Has anyone sat there before? Decent view or too high up?
Also which half of the stadium are we in?
I've only been to the new wembley once for the FAC semi in 2010. Is it the same half as that time?
-
For those who have already bought - what was the average waiting time?
Logged on just before 5 last night, gave me a 35 minute waiting time at 5, which proved accurate.
-
there are seats on the other side, just got low down by the pitch, we can only buy our end...
-
anyone need a place in the queue? i'm been done, but a place in queue in 5 mins , cna enter your email address...
-
Boom, I'm in. Not a lot left fellas and ladies.
-
Club expect it to sell out tonight.
-
There's still a few hundred tickets left on the side above the Royal Box. But I guess they'll all be gone tonight.
-
Anyone who can get your purchases in the villa expect to sell out tonight

I have a spare reference if anyone wants it? First come first served

OS
Aston Villa are fully expecting to put the SOLD-OUT signs up tonight for the Play-Off Final clash.
Tickets, from 5pm today, have become available ONLINE to supporters with a home league booking history from the 2017/18 season.
At this point, the number of fans eligible to purchase is in excess of the number of tickets that remain available - so we will almost certainly sell out during the course of the evening.
Therefore, we do not recommend anyone travel to Villa Park tomorrow ahead of checking communication channels regarding tickets still being available.
Supporters should ensure they are web ready and have an eligible FAN ID – if tickets purchased this season have not been assigned to individual Fan IDs they will not qualify. Please check this important point.
You can buy here from our Online Box Office.
This method has proven the most popular with supporters, with a massive 85% of our Wembley tickets bought online.
In other news, season card holders who have booked tickets for Wembley will have had their tickets posted first class today.
-
just got an £80 ticket in section 142 at 6:04 PM Yessssss!
-
Five and a half thousand in the queue at the moment, and thirteen thousand have already been in the queue and out the other side (joining now gives eighteen thousand and something)
Obviously that will include people leaving and coming back, and people who were queuing and another member of their party got there first, but easy to see why they're confident of a sellout.

Ref gone to the 1st sender. Sorry to the others

Ashby Villa kindly let me use an ID reference to get a second ticket, for my brother. Does anyone know such tickets are sent to the address of the person with that particular reference or the person using someone else's reference but while logged on as an original ID reference holder? Would be a right faff if the tickets are sent to separate addresses.

There's a lot more than that. The club tweeted there were 1000 left at 10pm. There should be a few hundred left for general sale.
-
There's not a lot left at all. I'd say less than 300. Only 3 down stairs and you had to have a junior ticket.

So did we both get, and sell 38k?
-
So did we both get, and sell 38k?
Yes, both had 38k. Fulham sold out earlier but if you look on Twitter and resale sites they're full of tickets for the Fulham end selling for £200+. Letting them buy 5 tickets is a tout's dream and I reckon there will be a fair few empty seats in their end.

I hope so the scalping arseholes.
-
So going from my circle of mates, anyone who wanted a ticket has got one without it going to general.
Do we think we could sell another 7k if we got them?
-
I reckon we'd sell another 2k-3k on general sale if we had them. Seen quite a few people on Twitter saying they need to wait for general, they haven't put games on their reference etc.
-
I Have 2 tickets in level 2 block 242 cost £76 each looking
to swap for level 5 same value or would consider £52. PM me
if interested. UTV.

I ordered on the first day's availability and haven't received the tickets yet. Is this common around here?
-
Same for me - not worried yet. I think I read somewhere that they posted them yesterday so I am expecting it today - fingers crossed!
-
How many left then going into today?
-
Literally hundreds if not thousands of Fulham tickets for sale on the usual websites £54 tickets priced around £180 -£200. 10 at a time in some cases showing just how ridiculous their ticketing policy was.
-

I hope no one buys them. Want to see those arseholes out of pocket.
-
120 left from over night.
The Fulham third party sales sites are a joke! Absolutely boat loads of tickets going spare.
Why has a club with half the season ticket holders as us, who struggle to pull 20,000 home fans, been given the thick end of 40,000 tickets? 5 tickets per person has just been a recipe for touting.
-
What is ridiculous is the price. If there are people prepared to pay massively over the odds then more fool them.
-

I guess it's Fulham's way of making as much money out of this as possible. They ask for their full share of the tickets and flog them as quickly as they can to pretty much anyone who wants one. If they then end up in the hands of non-Fulham fans or just unused, they've still got £50-£100 for the seat.
Given their neutral stand, it's pretty consistent with the policy of "we don't care who comes in, as long as they've given us the cash".
-
I ordered on the first day's availability and haven't received the tickets yet. Is this common around here?
I ordered my match tickets on the first day (Wednesday) and coach tickets Thursday.
Coach tickets came Friday. Match tickets came Saturday.
Edit: Looking at another forum, it seems I am more of an exception and lots in same position as you.
-
All gone now.
-
Serves me right for only going to away games this season. But if anyone has any spares between now and the weekend please let me know. Thanks in advance...
-
Now let's start buying the tickets for resale in the Fulham end and take over the ground. As ours didn't make general sale you'll find quite a few of our fans doing just that.
-

Fulham fans have a few!
-
You can expect a fair few travelling without tickets - there's no way all those Fulham resales will sell, so I'd expect plenty on sale outside the ground

They net that off as segregation I think.

There's still loads of our fans on Twitter asking for spare tickets for their Dad, Uncle, Cat. The Fulham end is either going to have a fair few empty seats or they'll be occupied by our fans.

If people's cats can't be bothered to go to at least 3 games in a season, or sort out their own booking history, then quite frankly they don't deserve a Wembley ticket. Freeloading animals.

ery true mate. Dogs maybe, but cats are arseholes.
I like the fact we sold out before it made general sale. Our end will be full of fans who have been there this season, even for just one game. There won't be any daytrippers there like Fulham's end. I think we could have easily sold another few thousand on general sale though.
-
I ordered on the first day's availability and haven't received the tickets yet. Is this common around here?
Same here but won't panic till after the Post person's been tomorrow.

Ordered one yesterday morning came this morning so no complaints !

I would imagine any Fulham fan who bought 5 tickets to sell on was probably banking on it being Villa fans as they would have known there wouldn’t be that sort of demand from Fulham
-
Having been a couple of world cups the way to do it without a ticket is not to panic and wait until kickoff - the scruffy scabs will be offloading like yesterday their tickets. Dont pay over the odds!
-
There are actually 3 tickets left if you login quick now !
Block 140
Block 551
It's not sold out !

Thanks - although netting off 2 whole blocks - or even 1 whole block seems a bit of overkill. I thought they normally just netted off around 10 seats or so like this:

Thx for the responses re ticket delivery: I'm not panicking yet but am looking out for Captain Mainwaring ...

As long as you don't have happen to you what happened to me against Man Utd in 2010. My ticket got lost in the post, or more likely I think the postman had it. Had to call the club who cancelled that ticket and I had to pick another one up on the day from Wembley. Eat into my drinking time and I hated travelling down without the ticket in my pocket!

I had a similar thing for the 2015 final when i was picking up 4 tickets for Kingthing's mates from Wembley. Was terrified of letting him down as they were ordered via a mate who knew a mate at Wembley stadium etc.

sold out signs at VP now

Good evening all.
I’ll almost certainly have a ticket going spare (Block 127, Row 16: £76), will know for sure tomorrow night. I will of course sell for face value. I’ll be back online tomorrow night to see if anyone would like to take it off my hands. Cheers, KV.

29 just released in block 243

They’ve added this message to the site now:
Any returned tickets will be made available to supporters who have a home league booking history for the 2017/18 season

Just saw that too, shame as I was hoping for some general sale.

Strikes me as a very unfair moving of the goalposts

It's because the tickets all sold during the booking history window so they are carrying it on as they left off for people who have been to games.
-
...home games.
-
They 'sold out' on the 'at least one 2017/18 game booking history' yesterday lunchtime at the earliest. I know this because there was still the odd ticket but I couldn't add any because I was still waiting for it to go to general sale.
So I think the previous criteria had enough time and it should move on. They've only got 2 days to get these out now!

Put them on sale to 1+ and general salers are unhappy
Put it on general sale and anyone with 1+ that was slow or been given a late reference won't be happy.
Personally I think all things considered they've done a bloody good job considering the timeframes they had.
-
I live outside UK and still waiting on tickets. Hope they arrive tomorrow otherwise... well... who should I be phoning? Villa or Wembley?
Based on my own experiences in the past....
You bought from Villa so keep phoning them. However there should be an option to pick up replacements at Wembley ticket office if you don't receive them in the post. Villa would need to notify Wembley of this in advance, hence needing to speak to Villa first.

I'm not sure those with 1+ who haven't got around to buying a ticket yet deserve too much sympathy if they miss out. I'm guessing the club have made this decision to try and keep the tickets out of the hands of touts which is a little more understandable.
-
I don't have too much sympathy for anyone who hasn't been to Villa Park this season and hasn't got a ticket.
-
How many away games have you been to this season Dave? We all have circumstances that facilitate how easy it is to get to the games.
-
Still need a ref! Surely should be general sale now
Anthony Taylor
Good if we have bought the Ref.

I'm sure we do. And I'm sure it will be easy to get to Wembley.

Way to miss the point...
-
I'm quite happy with my point.
-
......what about those who have been but didn't get them on their own reference because their tickets were always bought on a family or friends group by someone else.
What about those who live a long way away, are elderly, disabled, or otherwise struggle to get to games but would like to get to a big occasion?
They don't deserve tickets more than those who have been - but lets face it we are well into the realms of borrowed references at this stage either way!

That was really funny. Almost as funny as the

As I was getting a bit obsessed, I emailed the Villa and got this response:
"Unfortunately, as tickets sold out during the 17/18 home league booking history window, they will not go on general sale."
I don't know if that will mean a few unsold tickets, as I doubt many are looking now that it is 'sold out' and sale of returned tickets has not been announced, but hey ho.
Good luck to those who can get tickets, fingers crossed you have a better day than my last trip to Wembley!
-
......what about those who have been but didn't get them on their own reference because their tickets were always bought on a family or friends group by someone else.
We've had enough Wembley trips, FAC QF and derby games where everyone should know by now to use individual reference numbers. The system has been in place for yonks so shouldn't really still be catching people out.
-

It shouldn't, but despite giving both mine and my son's reference numbers when booking over the phone I only noticed last week that most tickets booked are allocated to my reference number only.
-
Always check the ID on tickets, and if they aren't right give the club a call. A pain to have to do but always better to be on the safe side just in case booking history is ever needed. After a game it's more hit and miss if they'll allocate them to a different ID, before the game has been played they usually do.
-
The initial set up is fiddly. Once people are linked its pretty easy.
You can just buy some extra tickets online or in 5 mins on the phone on your own reference, but you can mess about for ages giving individual addresses to set up booking histories.
I don't even know the addresses of some of the people I have bought for, I just clicked in and got them tickets when the ST window opened so I could get seats as close to me as possible. I didn't have the time in the working day to be ringing VP and setting up their accounts then linking them to mine. Until the moment you need it, its a bit of a pfaff. I honestly didn't think just one game would be the difference between getting a ticket or not - so setting up refs for people like my mum, neighbour, friends who only went to one seemed OTT. sometimes you take someone to a few games before you say 'We should set up a proper reference for you'.
I think a hard and fast 'You should know by now' is harsh because real life has shades of grey.
I didn't miss out, but I can understand how people do.
-
It may be a pain to set up but it's better to spend half an hour or however long it is setting it up than for folks to miss out on tickets they are entitled to. The 'you should know by now' isn't meant in a bad way, just how after so long of the system being in place and any big game requiring an individual booking history it surprises me folks are still missing out because of it.
-
In the time it takes to post a lengthy post on here about how it's a pain to set up a client reference profile, you could probably set up a client reference profile.
-
I know - but I also said its a bit more organic than that........and today I was on 'phone duty' and it seemed that every time I tried to do some of my own work, the duty phone rang, but as long as I was dong sod all, it stayed quiet.
-
Long shot but if anyone has a ticket going, I've got a friend in desperate need
-
This may be a long shot but thought it be worth asking. My friend managed to get a ticket in Area 243 section, he is looking to swap it for one sat with us or near us in Area 132. He isn't bothered by getting the difference in price of tickets back. But if anyone is in a similar situation and would benefit from swapping get in touch. Thanks UTV
-
If I bought an extra ticket using somebody else reference (with their consent) and the acknowledgment came to me, would it be posted to me or the address linked to the customer reference?
-

Eamonn bought a ticket using my friends reference and is in the same boat. I asked the club and their answer was that it goes to the ‘lead booker’ address so we’re assuming it’ll be posted to Eamonn (and so you!) on that basis
-
Fingers crossed.
Going away to our place in North Wales tomorrow night so be handy if it comes tomorrow otherwise it will either be a very late Friday swinging by my house or an ewrly Saturday morning.

My ticket went to the person who booked it (so not posted to me) if that helps.

Thanks gents.

Ordered mine on Sunday evening and it's not arrived yet, which makes me a bit nervous. Has anybody else who booked in the first 'non-season ticket holder' cohort received their ticket yet?

Hi,
I do not post often but always come on here for my daily fix of all things Villa.
I may potentially be able to help someone out as I may have 2 spare tickets for Saturday. I purchased tickets for my Dad and sister but he has just been offered a couple of Club Wembley seats. One is an over 65 ticket in 140 row 41 and the other is an adult ticket in 141 row 33.
Once he has the Club Wembley tickets confirmed and in his hand I will be prepared to let these tickets go. Obviously I will only be selling these for face value plus booking fees etc.
I will not be back online until after 3pm and will know for definite then if they are available so if anyone is interested message me and I will pick the messages up when I am home and respond.
Hope this helps
Thanks
Stu

Hi Stu
I would be interested. I've sent you a message. Please let me know.

50 seats released in block 143
-
I hope they haven't kept other blocks/tickets from sale due to some form of logistical b*llocks :@, have a strange feeling they may have
-
Going to look crap if we end up with empty seats m'lord!
Just general sale them and get them shifted!
-
Literally sat here with my card dying to hand over my money to them
-
You tried ringing them ? Surely common sense would prevail with them knowing you have a history yourself. Worth a try ..
-
Tried yesterday but could not get through after 30 mins on hold. Will yry and find time to get through to them today
-
Anyone else not had their ticket in the post yet. Bought two separate ones on Monday and one has arrived, but the other hasn't yet.

Long shot but if anyone has a ticket going, I've got a friend in desperate need
Paulie very kindly posted this, and it's me who's after the ticket. I used to have a season ticket when I lived in the midlands, and regularly took my seat next to him in the Upper Trinity. Since moving to Devon I've just not been able to afford to come to games hence the current predicament. Although I managed to get he and I tickets to Wembley for our FA Cup semi via a friend's work, haven't been that lucky twice.
I know it's a big ask as there are so many who want to go but can't, but I am only after one ticket so if anyone has a situation with a late drop out, or anything similar I can be there. Many thanks.
-
I have been informed the ticket i ordered Monday has just been delivered
-

The feedback I had via email yesterday stated that they would not go to general sale as they 'sold out' during the 'home league booking history for the 2017/18 season' criteria.

I tried to call them but there's a half hour waiting time and I'm at work. I've emailed them and it's told me to ring.
It seems a lot of people who ordered on Monday have their tickets. Given that I ordered mine on Sunday and I'm told it still hasn't arrived today, I'm definitely nervous.
I presume there are contingency plans in place if the ticket doesn't arrive, does anyone have any idea though? Wembley is a big place, I don't fancy trying to sort this out on Saturday if something has indeed gone awry.
-
I can see Jon has answered my question while I was typing it! I am guessing they will need to know you are coming though, which means that I will need to speak to the ticket office at some point. It will be a nightmare getting through to them tomorrow.
-
Ours arrives today, also ordered on Monday about 6:30pm.

Olof's Beard,
If you do have to pick them up from Wembley it is not as traumatic as it sounds - I did so in 2015. Back then you approached the stadium along Wembley way, and after a while the path rises and splits in 2, so this weekend would be Fulham fans left and Villa right. The ticket office was underneath the left hand (East side) walkway. almost equivalent to the basement tier of the stadium.
Good luck!
-
Any reason why my tickets have reissue on, and another batch of my tickets hasn't ?
-

28 across various blocks, someone needs to bang some heads together to move criteria, at least to away booking history / previous seasons...

Yeah, still no general sale. What’s all that about?
-
Have the club even told anyone they've had a few returns? There's still loads of people on Twitter after spare tickets, these few returns would sell in seconds.

I think it's the fan id that's the sticking point.
Really can picture empty seats saturday when there shouldn't be, and that will be down to the club :@
-
It's only a handful of returns. I'm sure they'll be re-sold.
-
Just bagged a ticket for my brother. Still a few on there now.
-
It’s a bit daft not opening the final few remaining to general sale. I’ve got friends with client refs but no booking history this season and the restrictions won’t let me buy more or assign to them. May be they’ll sell tomorrow with or without genera sale.
-
I think i have someone’s client ref with booking history now which ive added to my account under Relationships. But it still says Coming Soon when i try to find any tickets. Am i doing it wrong or are there simply none on ssle currently?

On the avfc website, go into Ticket News. Click on the story from Monday 21st, the one that says it's close to selling out. In that story, there's still a link to buy tickets. Click on that.
Good luck.

Have you signed in to your account before you attempt to buy. That has just worked for me (although I don't need another ticket).

Yup signed in and then clicked the link. Still just see the 'More info' and 'Coming Soon' buttons. Going to have to phone the box office when they open...not sure what else it could be that's preventing me from buying!

They've sold out the returns.

I spoke to the Ticket Office on Wednesday and it is not possible to reallocate a ticket to a fan ID after the game has been played (in my case for my son v Derby). Luckily, I managed to scrounge an ID from a friend whilst in the call - it took almost an hour to get through!
-
They've sold out the returns.
Where you hearing / seeing that Ads?

It's why it states coming soon.

I think 'coming soon' is a polite way of saying you don't qualify for a ticket under current criteria.
-
10 tickets showing as available at moment. Blocks 231 and 230.
-
It's why it states coming soon.
It's always showing sold out, yet about 28tix still there...
-
There are definitely tickets available for anyone with a FAN ID with a booking history, get in quick.

You ned to keep clicking round the site until you get the map. The criteria don't kick in til after picking a seat and then you have an option to re-assign.
BUT - the bit where they ARE STILL selling isn't in an obvious place - its like theres a back door. Just keep exploring till you find a map. It may well be tbat availabilty is coming and going at present.
I managed to get to the point of choosing seats after 'sold out' but didn't have a legitimate ref to re-assign to.

I've literally just gone in on the app. In that news story, click on the link, ignore the next bollocks about being sold out, click Buy Tickets, select the "select from area list" drop box, and scroll through til you get to ones that have availability. Click on that, then select from the available seat(s).

I have found the bit you're talking about and like Alan I can sign in with my reference number but can't buy as obviously don't meet the criteria. I suppose it's a question of keeping trying

Have tweeted official/tony/Rongtian asking them to move on category, we can't do more... seem a few being offered on twitter
-
Just a thought. As there’s 10k or so neutral tickets, are these extras coming from sponsors/ hospitality returns/ other clubs giving their allocations to us, as often happens in FA cup finals?.

They'll be people sending them back as they can't go or more likely upgrading to club Wembley.
Risso was saying that Wembley reckon the majority of purchases in there have been Villa.

4 seats left according to the site.

Yes......They wont change criteria now as they will get hundreds/thousands decending on Villa Park for about 10 tickets

Arrived 20 minutes ago, bastard postie obviously overslept and had me worried he'd been and gone this morning without delivering the tickets.

Ours have been delivered to my Brothers house with a lovely fag burn through the envelope! Presumably some jealous blue nose postman. Small time, small heath!

Finally got 3 tickets today confirmed for mates via a contact at the FA.. They are print at home tickets, so a lot of anguish could have been avoided this week for people shitting themselves about today's post service.

See you back on here the next time we're at Wembley, then. Enjoy the game.

Cheers PM, happily the ticket arrived through standard means. Thank you for taking the time to outline the back up plan, much appreciated.
