Just because there's nothing to talk about doesn't mean you can't talk.

Fighting words, I wish Bruce believed in them.
-
Fighting talk indeed.

Absolutely spot on, this is why I'm so harsh on Bruce, as a club we're just far to meek when we should be the billy big bollocks of this league.
-
Spot on, but don't see Bruce as a manger who will motivate the team to achieve our due status in this league, automatic promotion.
-
Another good read Dave.

Plus he cannot complain about resources either as he has had and squandered more than most

This I totally agree with.

I do that about not wanting to know the scores as well!

I track the scores unless I'm recording the match to watch later. even then I need to go into radio silence because texts, WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter all come in....

Not knowing the score is difficult. It was difficult in The Likely Lads day and that was before social media.

I have to admit to taking a perverse pleasure in ‘innocently’ letting supporters of other clubs know the score when I know they are hiding from it to watch later. Especially top 4 glory hunters who’ve recorded champions league matches to enjoy when they get home from work. Small time? Yes. Fun? Indeed. Makes up a bit for the condescending enquiries I receive about our progress in the championship most weeks.

I couldn't be doing with this not knowing the score until after the match or waiting until match of the day. If I'm not there, I'm either watching it or got the commentary on.
-
There have been many matches in recent years where I didn't want to know the score even though I was at the game. Even though I buried my head in my hands many thousands around me usually used to ruin it for me.
-
I never used to watch our penalties, instead I would do a 180 turn and watch the crowd.
