I don't think he is manager.
Good luck to him

Always remember him being superb in 03/04, getting his England call up and a big new contract and like so many Villa players going on easy street and that was it.
Mark Fletcher who used to be of this parish was one poster who wasn't a big fan of him IIRC. When focused and motivated he was a good left back for us.

I wonder if, when he got the call offering him the job he thought they said Everton and is now very relieved it wasn't.

I used to like JLo as a player, but the ‘sweet boy’ footballers cribs episode was a bit cringeworthy. My only criticism of this and him trying to get his ex- pro mates involved is that it’s maybe hindering younger players coming through their ranks. Fair play to him though- obviously still loves playing and being involved in football. Be nice to see him go on to manage at a high level after learning his trade through the lower leagues. I wish him well.

He always linked up well with Barry down the left. Good player.

Was that the one where he showed off his huge trainer collection?

Am I the only one who saw this thread and assumed that the OP had misspelled "Everton"?
