Very nice.

Top tip folks , you can create your own Villa style merch on the adidas web site. Picking your own text and colours.
-
already got claret and blue puma suede 29.99 off e bay
-
I would call myself dyed claret and blue, but, as a trainer, I don't like it. White and claret, white and sky blue, fine. I'm also an Adidas addict.
-
One day we might get an adidas Villa kit.

We can only dream !

Adidas don't seem to excel in the English football shirt department, but that's just my opinion. Umbro for me. ;)
-
The three stripes down the sleeves kind of takes away from the claret and blue, on West Ham's kit anyway.

im with you on this. I like adidas, but we’ve never had any kind of association with them to my knowledge. I’d take Umbro any day though and you know it would be a decent kit whatever they came up with.
-
Not sure about claret and blue trainers though- bit much. I’d never paint my house claret and blue, not sure I could wear a pair of c & b trainers either.

Umbro makes me think of those delicious claret & blue strips of the 70's.

Umbro always reminds me of the white Villa away kit in the late 1970s with the claret and blue concentric diamond logos down the sleeves.

And the tracksuit. Blue top and claret bottoms. My pride and joy as a youngster, I was never seen without it on. They did bomber jackets as well. Think of the retro range Umbro could launch if they got the gig to make our kits again
-
Just got me a pair of them from the Size shop in Carnaby Street really nice.
-
Those Adidas Indoor supers are the most comfy trainers you'll get.
Actually just typing that has reminded me. I'm old.

Odd - I am sure Frank Carrodus was always number 11? On the basis that Brian Little was number 8 in that period, I can't imagine anyone else in the number 8 shirt.

pretty much all the photos of me and my mates early 80’s I was wearing the umbro tracksuit! Going back to Umbro would be massively successful financially, for the club I reckon.
