Expected. I'd like to see him have the confidence to bring in other players with the same system and attitude. I appreciate you can't play exactly the same way with Hogan but we should have enough talent in the squad to accommodate. Maybe stick Kodjia in the middle with Hogan left. Either way, let's get a win today and head into the break in great form and spirit!!!

Expectant after the Tuesday win.
Need to show we can mix things up and dominate and create chances against teams at home who come to park the bus (which I expect Bolton to do)

I hope this is not a war of attrition with Bolton putting all 11 behind the ball and us not being able to break them down.

It would be nice to think this will be another confidence boosting goal fest but I'll take a 1-0 and have a feeling that's what it'll be.

When does the AVTV audio commentary start? There's no obvious link to the match on the AVTV tab on the Villa website.

Found it.

AVTV charge £3 for audio commentary on the match, it's quiet and shitty though.

iFollow only stream matches outside of the UK. You can get a vpn and change your location, but it blocks you from making payments outside of the country you're "in".

We play in slow motion and it allows opponents to get set and positioned. I'm obviously glad we are winning and playing against a dreadful side. But it's just not effective overall. And Glen Whelan is garbage. How he keeps his spot I'll never know.

Bolton have worked very hard off the ball not convinced they can keep the going for 90 minuets. Us being a bit too slow in pushing forward has meant they can get back and regroup.

Expect a nervy first 20 mins before Bruce puts subs on in a similar fashion and we get 2 goals in the last 20 minutes.

Why not keep Davis on the pitch with Hogan?

I wish he'd leave Davis on to play with Hogan. We are at home to the bottom club. Safety first from the potato. Not good enough from the manager.

Possibly Onomah to play up with Hogan.

Hogan and Onamah on for Kodja and Davis.

according to the official site:

60
One hour gone...
We've reached the hour mark at Villa Park and it's still the claret and blues on top and pushing for a second goal. Ahmed Elmohamady and Robert Snodgrass are linking up brilliantly down the right-hand side. We're playing some lovely stuff!

oh and I still need to "subscribe" but I am SUBSCRIBED........crappy set up
