Has anyone cracked to code on how to log onto Villa Rewards site?
The login page is displayed asking if or a FanID and password.
Password? What fecking password?
-
Password is your postcode all in lower case until you reset it
-
Or your password is the same as your online ticket office password, if you have logged on since the introduction of the new ST cards.
-
Hi just spoke to a lady on the ticket office line she said they are having trouble with the login on the pride awards web site also it is not live as of yet also if like me you are waiting on a season card with your original ref on they should be sent out hopefully next week
-
Can you use your points to buy match tickets?
-
No - but you can 'bid' for a pair of away tickets if that is any help?
The rewards are a bit random but quite fun to be fair. We're doing a 'VIP experience' in The Corner Flag before the Brentford game for 500 points. There's some kind of 'legend Q &A', some food & a free drink. It's a bit of a different pre-game routine and I'm looking forward to it. As a long term season ticket holder, I had about 12/1300 points so we thought we'd give that a go.
There is a bizarre range of stuff. You can go down to the pitch and have a 'selfie' in the dug out at half time. That one seems a bit overpriced but some people, maybe kids, might love it. You can use points to get a request or your name in the programme. You can go into a draw to be a flag bearer for 50 points. There is some merchandise which you can buy with points too.
As I looked it over I thought it's quite an interesting idea. At the end of the day, When I buy stuff from Villa, I'd probably buy it regardless of any discount - a fiver off £55 really didn't change my life, but some of the ideas for rewards are things that can add to your interest, and promote attachment to the club. I imagine they'll keep coming up with new ideas, and welcome suggestions.
I think some of the ways you can add to your points are good ideas too, although given the way we've played over the last few years it is pretty funny that you get points for goals, and as soon as they started doing this, we scored 8 in 2 games!

Where is the info for all of this??
-
It took some digging about on the OS tbf! I'll pop back and see if I can remember where I found it all and post a trail!
-
On the OS you go to the top bar and click the drop down for 'More' and then click 'fans' and there you should find 'pride rewards membership' - once you are in there, there is a top bar where you can look at the rewards and how to earn them etc.
It's quite well hidden!
-
Thanks!

There's only one reward I want and that's promotion

.....or that!

How is the opening balance worked out ?
I have 1145
-
It's based on number of years you've had a st and attendance at games if you get there an hour early etc...
-
I was wondering that too. No explanation or anything? Or is that hidden too. :-)
-
It's very hush hush. Do they have a secret handshake too?
-
There is an explanation in the website somewhere...
-
You should be able to find your account details which show exactly how your balance is reached.
Your 1145 will be made up of points for your season ticket and how long you've had it. You will also have points for the games you have been to, the wins you have seen, and the goals you have seen. (You only get points for wins and goals you are present for) You get more points for attending a game that isn't on a Saturday.
You can also add points by linking on social media, and spending money at Villa Park using your season card (once you can put money on it)
-
Anyone think they should just have stuck with Villa Cash? The whole thing looks like the result of a team building day, where walls are smothered in post it notes with half baked ideas.
-
Win bonuses? Surely they've got that utterly the wrong way round, no?

Not sure if you're joking about this bit Amfy
-
It's actually true! If you didn't go to the Wigan game - you are not getting the points for those 4 goals!
I kind of like that this whole rewards thing - both earning and spending, is actually slightly bonkers!
-
Fcuk me they won't be giving out many bonus points for wins and goals in the last few years. I'm half expecting them to invoice me.
-
I've got 1240 points.

A lot of bad driving?

Very good!
-
it keeps telling me to put in my fan id then postcode then reset my password but when I do that it tells me it don't recognise my details
ah well
-
Are you entering your postcode as all lower case with no spaces?
-
It's a daft gimmick which will just cause headaches for the club - would have been better to reduce season ticket prices by a fiver in ny opinion
-
The only thing I used my Villa cash for is to pay for home cup tickets - assuming we stayed in long enough - or put against next years season ticket. As both these options have gone I will probably never use my points. I have 1210.
-
The site is off line for the next 48 hours for maintenance
-
I dont understand why the cup tickets are posted and not added to the cards?

The sponsors want their name on every ticket.
-
So - the pre match experience was really good fun.
Dennis Mortimer and Peter Withe turned up and we had photos and autographs. Brian Little was supposed to be there but got stuck with some corporates, but they made the effort to get a pennant signed by him for our friend when she loudly expressed her disappointment!
There was a quiz which we didn't win, although I think we ran it a bit closer by having Joe C with us than we might otherwise have done.
The food was a basic Lasagne and chips but it was nice to have a meal and a free drink (bottles only)
Overall, just a really great atmosphere amongst the fans that went, and it set us up for the game in a really good mood.
I'd recommend it as something different to do in your pre-match build up and I would definitely do it again, and maybe take my Dad because he would really like it. I'm actually quite disappointed that I've only got enough points to do it a couple more times instead of every week!

When I ordered my Boro Cup ticket online, I had it added to my card

And then we had to spoil it all by having to watch a Bruce plodder team amble around the pitch.

Was that upstairs in the Holte Suite? I went to something similar last season. We had a quiz, free meal and a free drink with Sir Brian walking round to each table having a chat. It was really nice.

It was in the Cornerflag

Ah, ok thanks. Hope you enjoyed it.

Do you know how much it would cost, if you didn't have points to use?

Still can't get on this. Load of rubbish.

Couldn't get my password to work on it. Changed it as instructed. Still wouldn't work, so I phoned them (use the number on the back of the season card) and the chap on the other end of the line sorted it out for me.

Cheers mate, I'll give it a go.

You can get an 82 home replica shirt on there at the moment.

Tried calling, tried e-mailing again, still no joy. I really don't think anyone down there has a clue.

I still can't log on, had an e-mail off the club citing "technical issues" I feel they are just fobbing me off.

What happened to being able to load £credit onto your ST so you can buy drinks etc on it?

Is there any point to that? Why not just use your debit card? Or cash?
-
You get points for loading cash and points for spending it. I went to VIP experience last week with 8 of my family going again this week. Good food free drink and met Shaun teale

Shaun Teale was in the Holte Suite the other week. Nice chap and didn't seem too keen on Bruce.

The other week most people weren't too keen on Bruce.
