Title: Players That Always Used Have Bad Games Against Us Despite Not Being That Bad

Gary Lineker. 238 goals at club level, 48 goals for his country.
Never scored a goal at Villa Park.

Lothar Matthaus, Paul Gascoigne, can't remember Cantona ever doing much against us though maybe I've just erased some of our many defeats against them from my memory. He was definitely non-existent at Wembley.

Oh, and Pele. Played one, lost one. Overrated, IMO.

Giggs never did a great deal against us that I can recall.

How many games did Lineker play at VP and did he score many against us at White Hart Lane?

Manager, not player, but Mourinho's crap record at VP was great until the season we funeraled ourselves.

Good spot for a manager, Mourinho has 1 win from 6 visits to VP. Curbishley also used to have a dismal record coming here when he was having great seasons at Charlton.

Did Suarez ever score that many against us? I remember him being marked out of the game when he wasn't as well known at Ajax and can't recall him scoring at VP plus we used to have a great record at Anfield when he was there.

Drogba also usually seemed to have quiet games against us at VP, again in a period where Chelsea could never seem to beat us aside from the 7-1.

They only won 3 out of 12 premier league games against us between 2006-2012.

Didn't Curbs/Charlton beat us 4-3 late in the 98/99 season?

Hadn't realised Suarez played in the Ajao game. Atmosphere was fantastic that night.

I think that game you mentioned was when Curbishley's Charlton beat us 3-4 at VP on the last day of the '99 season.

Was a bizarre game. Didn't they have their keeper sent off yet still won. Barry also did a Chris Nicholl impression.

Curb's only win at VP. Lost twice as West Ham manager and then after Charlton came back up in 2000 lost 5/6.

And they didn't have a sub keeper. I also think we were 3-2 up late on.

He finished John Fashanus career.

I've a feeling Danny Mills went in goal.
