Only joined the Heroes & Vilains today after a long time reading the forums. Would like to add my best friend Jason Hollington to the Holtenders in the sky. We grew up together from a young age supporting Villa and going to most home games and as many aways games as was possible. 89/90 was our personal favourite. Jason died suddenly on December 2nd last year R.I.P Jase love you to bits.

Sorry for your loss. Stick around, you're among friends.

RIP Jason Holte Ender in the sky. Welcome Dave and enjoy

Losing a mate you share something special with is always a blow. I just lost my "little brother" who was a Sunderland fan. Remember those great times at the Villa and think of your mate when you sing Holte Enders in the Sky!

Condolences Dave and welcome. Your friend lives on in all of us.
-
Warm welcome to you Dave.
Having lost a good mate many years ago, I can tell you that Jason and your memories of him will remain close all down the years. Forever young.

Thank you all for the kind messages it's very thoughtful of you. when things like this happen it makes you realise it's not " just a game " it's a way of life when you think back about all the memory's at the games.

Yes. Welcome Dave. Sorry to hear about your mate Jason. Hopefully H&V will provide you will some light relief as we coast through the Championship next season to immediate promotion. Ah well we can all dream!

Sorry to hear of your loss Dave and at such a young age. No doubt every game you watch and everything you do Villa related Jason is in you thoughts.

the football is sometimes secondary compared to the memories

Sorry for the loss of your mate Jason, Dave. Sounds like you have lots of happy memories

Sad way to compel you to join Dave but I thought Brian summed it up perfectly. Once a Villa man always a Villa man whether here or not.

Thanks all And thank you for the warm welcome.
