Post by: MarkM on September 10, 2015, 04:13:11 PM
Passed away earlier today aged 67

took me to my first Villa match (against the Blues at Villa Park)

Stood on the Holte End with him, his dad and his great uncle!

He has been to VP with me, my wife and Son

Dad you passed on the Villa curse to me and my son, thanks for that

RIP Ron.

Condolences to you and your family, Mark.

Hopefully the 'Villa curse' will bring you happier days in the near future, similar to those your father must have witnessed and no doubt he'll be looking down on you, celebrating like a mad one.

Sincere condolences to you and your family Mark.  May your dad rest in peace.  I will be 67 in November, he would have been watching the Villa all the time I have.  Stay strong.

Respect for another Father who passed on the love of the two-edged sword that is the Villa - There are many of us who stand in the Holte with the memories of our Dads and friends now gone - remember we are a family Mark and the passing of one is mourned by many

I can picture a Brigade of all our Villa dads in Heaven, swathed in Claret and Blue.
My dad joined the Brigade 11 years ago, there is not a game goes by without me thinking of him and passing a telepathic comment to him.
The tears will always come, but in time with a smile of remembrance.
Your dad will always be with you, deepest sympathy for you and family.
